5. What a beautiful woman!
It's not only her physical appearance, although to deny or diminish her physical beauty would be dishonest. But it's her intelligence, demeanor, and overall personality in combination with her physical appearance that makes her so attractive.

Damn you Barack! You're not only blessed with incredible smarts, great kids, and this gorgeous woman, but a very good chance at being this country's next president! Is there anything this man doesn't have?

7. Wow, she's gorgeous.
I already knew her to be intellectually and politically my cup of tea.

I hadn't realized until now she's also the hottest potential First Lady in history!

8. How did she do on the show?
Aside from her gorgeousness, did she handle Colbert well? Thanks.

11. She seemed surprised...
Most people don't "get" the Stephen that shows up on stage.

They meet him backstage and he seems like a great guy.

He warns them what he will do on stage, but apparently, they forget. Lots of guests forget. And since he has lots of authors on, they aren't as relaxed on camera as the pro that he is.

Michelle Obama--at first--seemed like every other guest: apprehensive, a little out-of-place. But as the interview went on, she seemed more relaxed.

Although, to be honest, she never did stop campaigning, always "on message". Not like other "potential First Ladies" I have seen on TV (like Elizabeth Edwards). I do have to say she's the first "potential First Lady" to appear on The Colbert Report, so maybe it's not fair to compare.

BTW, one of my favorite author interviews is the one with Elizabeth de la Vega, who wrote http://search.barnesandnoble.com/United-States-v-George-Bush-et-al/Elizabeth-de-la-Vega/e/9781583227565/?itm=1">United States v. George Bush, et al.

You wouldn't think a nerdy former prosecutor would be fun to watch, but she was.

13. Arianna Huffington is my favorite guest
because she gets the joke so well and performs well on camera. It's always hilarious to watch.

14. Yeah, but...
...she's used to being on camera.

I actually like the nerdy guests he has on. They always try to be so serious, then he will say something and they lose it.

Remember this lady?

23. OMG, yeah that was hilarious!
She was so hard to read. Either she's a great actress or boy was she pissed. I tend to think the former because if she was really that pissed, I don't think she would have finished the whole thing.

18.  It was hilarious
Here's a bit:

“Everybody knows you and your husband are elitists,” Mr. Colbert said right off the bat. “Tell me about your elite upbringing on the South Side of Chicago. How many silver spoons in your mouth?”

“We had four spoons,” deadpanned Mrs. Obama during her late night talk show debut.

She added: “And then my father got a raise at the plant, and we had five spoons.”

“That sounds posh,” replied Mr. Colbert.

10. It never ceases to amaze how
whoever dresses her is able to find outfits in the '60s style, but updated. I remember my mother dressing like that in the '60s when I was a youngin'. Waiting for pedal pusher season!

Seriously, though, I love her fashion sense! She always looks so hip!

I recorded the show last night, but haven't got a chance to watch it yet.

She all but spins around and throws her hat in the air.
