It's funny. I had to stop with the counters to her insults and think that this person may very well have some serious mental issues with her posting history and style. How do you let a person know that without insulting them or blowing them off?

I can be a dick sometimes, but I know mental health issues really are no laughing matter. I have been diagnosed as mildly bipolar (before I called the shrink a quack, threw away the pills, and proceded to live my life...works for me but not for everyone) and will never deny that there are bad things out there that can happen to good people. I was pondering emailing a mod and asking them if there is something they can do to get her help (not TSing her but making sure she is OK.)

I just can't post more than one reply to her.

For the aforementioned poster. I really think she will go away and never come back on her own. I can think of a few who will do that...one of which has been posting here for a while.

I only ignore people if thay something batshit crazy or incontrivertably hateful. Goes for 'both sides' as it were, although one 'side' seems to dominate in both types of offense. :shrug:

Funny thing is I see people arguing with them in threads that have nothing to do with primaries, so I guess they're just naturally combatative folk. I don't really need that.

I have only missed out on one article in LBN on the front page because I was ignoring an author. My ignores don't seem to affect the people who actually contribute something of substance and sanity to the site. Funny, that.
