2. I am in Washington state
And what it looks like is that we won't be getting it live, but will have to wait till 8:00pm Pacific time to see the debate.

4. No. It will be broadcast (tape delay) to the West Coast.
In fact, ABC has ordered that the night of the debate, up until Thursday morning, only one 30 second clip can be posted on the Internet. They want you to watch it at the right time in your time zone.

But while we're talking...why haven't you watched ABC to see the continuous promos about when the debate will be on the air in your time zone? Don't you at least read the TV listings in your newspaper? If this is important to you, why aren't you paying attention?

I'm not being snarky here. When something important like this occurs, why don't people pay attention?

Example: I spent 20 minutes in line at Wal-Mart because the clerk was too stupid to realize that the $40 rebate coupons for digital TV converters were from the government. AND that neither she, nor the two other clerks who ambled by the register understood how to redeem the coupons. AND that the instructions for redeeming the coupons were posted on a piece of paper right above her register, which I had to point out to her once my frustration level hit a peak. AND read to her slowly, step by step.

Most Americans are genuinely stupid. Why? Why do you wish to remain stupid? Why do you filter out the whole world and miss the important stuff that's going on? I'm no genius, but why is everyone else pissing away their lives in a daze?

GAAAAAAAHHHH!
