Two NC Superdelegates endorse Obama
Watt and Price represent two of the bluest sections of North Carolina. They had previously endorsed Edwards. They just announced their endorsement of Barack Obama.

7. Yes - this is a big deal, I think.
Chapel Hill and Charlotte are two deep blue communities, and they're very different communities. These endorsements indicate that the most liberal Democratic representatives/superdelegates in NC favor Obama.

3. from the link...
Sen. Barack Obama has two more North Carolina superdelegates in his camp.

U.S. Reps. David Price of Chapel Hill and Mel Watt of Charlotte announced this afternoon that they are endorsing Obama over Sen. Hillary Clinton for the Democratic nomination for president.
...

In a conference call, Price said Obama can help bring independent voters to the Democratic column in November.

"With Barack Obama as our nominee, I believe we can turn North Carolina blue this year," Price said.

5. I'm confused
MSNBC has the SD count at

Clinton 257
Obama 234

DemConWatch has the SD count at

Clinton 249
Obama 226

Both are only +23 Clinton - but why the disparity?
