Seriously, I was sitting on a bench on Main Street with my best friend, the Late, Great Tom Snyder (yeah, that Tom Snyder) when we saw a local clothing designer coming down the sidewalk.

Tom asked me if that was who he thought she was and I said yeah, we are really good friends.

She walked up and I said, "Christine, I want you to meet my good friend.....". WHOOSH!!

I could not remember his name.

Then I thought, "Oh, wait, it's the same as mine.....".....

No clue.

I told him that he was on his own.

Tom had to tell me what our name was.

27. From my perspective, it's really a short wait! In the 1960s, I was responsible for helping to edit

the tape of the "Tonight" show with Johnny Carson. Then, we sent it by messenger to one of the New York airports (JFK or LGA). The tape was then flown to California, where they showed it the next night for the West Coast.

One day delay was the standard in the early 1960s.

Everything is relative!
