I'm sadly amazed- if that's possible. DUers for Obama seem to have lost it tonight. Every other---if not every, op is a dig at Clinton---

I'm in CA, so I can't comment on the debate, but from reading about it here--it sounds as though Clinton did well and Obama didn't.....from the constant digs here at Clinton, that is.

Too much negative energy flying around DU tonight- in my opinion.

and I don't have a problem with Obama's name, but if you ever go on a rightwing site and look around, you'll see that they throw it around like an insult. It's his name, it represents his culture as well as his person, and I think it's a good lesson for Americans to learn that the name "Hussein" is not something that should be associated with one bad person (though if a candidate had the middle name "Hitler", I'd probably advise that candidate to change it!)
