Boy, I'm glad I skipped the debate tonight.
I didn't watch the debate tonight. It sounds like I made the right decision, because from everything I've been reading here, it sounds like it was basically 90 minutes of irrelevant bullshit better suited to an Ed Anger column in the Weekly World News than a political debate. My impression is that the entire debate boiled down to:

1. Flag pins
2. William Ayers
3. Sean Hannity
4. Cookies

It is also my impression that the topics that were not covered were:

1. Iraq
2. The Bush Administration
3. Recession
4. Global warming

Do I have this about right?

1. Aaaaa pretty much.
I am just finishing it here and it really was a waste. They will do anything to keep the Hill in this thing. Just disgusting.

2. In any event you did not miss anything except
Hill said Obama was ELECTABLE - while she is telling the super-delegates that Obama is not - is that a hypocritical lier or what?

4. Yeah, I kind of had the feeling before it started
that my time would be better spent returning phone calls and doing laundry. Looks like I was right.

3. I am glad I am on the West Coast
I haven't watched it and I am not going to after reading these comments. I am going to tape it and save it for Obama's inauguration day. I will watch it and laugh at Charlie trying to derail Obama's nomination.

7. Really?
They asked substantive questions and not time-wasting bullshit?

My whole reason for skipping this debate was because I've been so disappointed in all of them so far. You mean to tell me that the one time I skipped it they completely reversed course and started asking questions about shit that matters?

11. It could have been worse.
It could have been straight up Maury, with Obama finding out that he was not Hillary Clinton's baby daddy.
