Hey Obama supporters - Let's Thank Gibson, Stephanopolous and Clinton - DONATE
Edited on Wed Apr-16-08 10:24 PM by sparosnare
They ambushed Obama with the 'dirt' the GOP will use against him in the GE. He kept his composure, didn't respond to the bait and even gave Hillary a pass when he could have been nasty about Bosnia. He was nothing short of presidential.

PLUS - Hillary admitted tonight that he COULD win the GE and she'll help him if he's the nominee.

This was a rough night for Obama, but I predict it will have little effect on the polls and how people vote in the remaining races. My mother thought he did well considering the debate wasn't fair (she's from small town PA). It will also have little effect on superdelegates.

When the polls don't move and Obama continues to gather supporters, the GOP will be scrambling; trying to figure out what tactic will work against Obama.

I'm looking forward to it.

GOBAMA!

1. I have donated tonight and have lost all faith in the MSM, the political process, and politicians.

3. I feel the same way. Obama is what a president should be.
However, I'm starting to think he is too intelligent for the presidency. So many people don't even seem to understand him at his level, although some of us on here and elsewhere do. I think our society has sunk to a very low level. I don't know what to say about those who can't understand a campaign run on hope and positive thinking and cooperation. I just don't understand it.

11. Can you imagine McCain, getting questioned on
that Wall Street Journal story about the mistress?

Fox would have been screaming at the top of their conservative laced lungs about it.

9. They made the horribleness of the questions and moderators the main story instead of the candidates
and their responses.

Nobody can say that Obama has NOT been tested.

He's truly inspirational ... I could not have held my composure, not even close.

Yes, Obama was Presidential. :patriot:

16. what do you think the 'average' american thinks and feels...
when they see someone ganged-up on?

like KO said, it was 5 on 1: 2 moderators, bittergirl, mclame & the repukes.

watch the next week, see how this all turns out...

only the 'insiders' (the usual gang of suspects/pudits) thought all the bullshit of the first hour was going to have long-term effects on Barack...matters he has proven to overcome for the past 4 months or so...

the only fucking people in america who don't think it is time for a BIG CHANGE are all the assholes who make their living OFF OF AMERICAN CITIZENS BY RUNNING WASHINGTON, D.C.: politicians, lobbyists, MSMers, bureaucrats and profiteers.

it is time to bring America back to Americans, back to the people who make this country work, the regular, average American citizen...ALL OF US...we pay the bills, we catch the shit, we live and die to make this country work, to make it better...just to see it all stolen and looted and given away to the people who pay off/buy/own the government...

it has to stop someday, some way...the math is tilting badly...it may not turn out for the best, but if we don't make an effort to right this ship we will find that the ship has not sunk, it has just left us behind and gone to a distant shore...

it really isn't about Barack...he is you and me, we know we want things to change, we have to fight to make people see it is more than 'bitter' and 'Rev. Wright' and whatever the distraction of the day is...it is about us wanting our country back, back to the America of the people, by the people and for the people...

my only hope is that it is not too late...it is getting harder to tell

sorry for going off subject...
