THE DEMOCRATS DEBATE

How come everywhere else I've looked it said the Democratic Debate, but when it's on ABC news it's the Democrats Debate??? To be biased is one thing but to completely slap a party in the face during primaries is appalling.

Don't even get me started on the debates tonight. Seriously, a full hour devoted to the current media spun issues as opposed to the real issues? ReDickulous.

If thats proper english then its a new one on me. I have always taken the Democrat party comments personal. And I don't see a difference here.

4. pardon me,
fairly educated here, but more in the math realm. If my english is a bit off, educate me and show me how I am wrong. Don't just cast insults and be a dick.

7. Pointless thread
First of all, it is correct to say, "The Democrats Debate" - as the Democrats are plural and they were performing the action of a "debate" (well, not really, but that is ABC's fault). If they would have been flagging the name of the debate, then you would have been correct, it would have been "The Democratic Debate". ABC chose the option (cheesily) to show action instead of simply telling us what was on.

But what I find really ironic is that you are nitpicking (incorrectly) about semantics, and yet your post and replies here are chock full of grammatical and spelling errors. They who live in glass houses should not throw stones, especially when their premise for the stone throwing is incorrect.

ABC sucks, and this "debate" was a joke. I prefer to focus on that bigger issue and see if we can improve debates in the future, rather than focus on trying to improve the grammar that they use.
