1. So...has Camejo actually accepted? I thought the Greens weren't
going anywhere near Nader this time.

4. I dunno, I'd love to see him reject the proposition.

I'd heard the same thing, so I'm confused. My guess is Nader wants to use the GP to advance is anti-progressive agenda. I hope they dont fall for it this time.

25. yes
i've known this was coming for about two weeks now. my friend in the nader office said it was going to be either camejo or laduke again. laduke decided to take this year off. she's supporting ralph, but is too busy with an environmental initiative and also has a few health issues, so they went with peter.

33. Bingo! he's experienced at helping GOP-ers grab power. hence, the VP
Nader made it believe he didn't care for the Greens. Seems I was right, it was the other way around. He'll soil their party once again.

2. hehe
exactly.

I've long been sympathetic to the Greens. I've voted for a number of their candidates in the past for state and local office.

But never again. These stupid motherfuckers are just too damned dumb to deserve office.

the 2000 debacle, I held on to my Green registration only because I was hoping for the chance to set it on fire and shove it up Ralph's...nose.

where they're appealing so far. TX not only isn't a swing state, they're probably not going to win their appeal.

getting enough signatures, and then suing and losing their cases but all in a big effort to make people more aware of the issue.

We'll see.

I definitely wouldn't sign a petition for Nader if I lived in a battleground state.

But I think he definitely is a voice worth listening to. (I'll listen to eveyone's ideas -- I'm not afraid of a debate.)

I think he'll drop out due to lack of interest. I'll listen to ideas too, but I dont consider him a credible candidate for the Presidency.

23. I don't think he's a credible candidate, but I do think his ideas are ...
...worth engaging.

And it troubles me when liberals try to discredit him without engaging in the ideas. It's sort of like cutting off your nose to spite your face, if you ask me.

26. The goal they share is destroying the Democratic Party
Fact 1: Nader cannot win the election.
Fact 2: Nader could affect the outcome of the election by drawing progressive votes in battleground states
Fact 3: There is no polling evidence to back of Nader's claim that he will hurt Bush more than Kerry

Does ANYBODY around here dispute these facts?

"I'm a member of the Green Party, I'm very proud of being a Green," Camejo said. "But I am so happy to join with Ralph Nader in the broader coalition he is trying to build to present an alternative for this election that stands on principles of social justice, peace in the world and equality." ~ Peter Camejo 6/21/2004

Wow! Social Justice, Peace on Earth and Equal Rights for all! Great rhetoric. To bad these morons don't realize their not running for czar.

34. Nader is trying hard to get the endorsement of the Green Party
so he can be on the ballot line of all those states where the Greens are included. And the Greens are pig-headed enough endorse him (even though he has never said he was a Green, not even in 2000).

What happened to those overtures Kerry was making toward Nader?
