Gibson and Stephanopoulos would have never never done this to McCain. Never. And an intelligent
democrat would have never piled on like Hillary did. Obama, I am so proud of you. You saw it coming and you had the god given sense to step out of it when they gave you a chance to dump on Hillary.

That is why Obama has my vote. The man is intuitive I tell you.

1. Did you see how they kept trying to set them against eachother?
Hillary fell for it each time and Obama rose above and chided them for baiting him.

8. Honestly, Zidzi?
I never thought she did.

I have posted a few OPs where, let's just say, I crossed my fingers as I wrote them because I was REALLY TRYING at various points to raise the level here in GDP.

But you and I have NEVER disagreed from what I have seen about that cow. I fucking hate her tonight

When you do reach out, it is only with obnoxious little sniping shit like that anyway.

The door was open. No one came in. Fuck off.

I will enjoy seeing you moping around after "Your Gal" is gone.

But then again, maybe you'll just dissolve into nothingness when it happens.

Where the hell is the ignore function already? I see you Hilly supporters are back for the perceived good news for Annie O but rest assure this is not going to change the math. She looked as desperate as ABC did tonight and everyone is on to ABC; don't think they are not on to her lying ass as well.

...and I saw Clinton jump on the long-dead Wright issue when given the opening.

19. Obama did himself proud tonight. If he would of jumped into the shit with the moderators and
Hillary, he would have looked as bad as the rest of them. This is a WIN WIN for Obama.

Believe me now or later, but I know your gonna believe me.

6. I was disappointed with Clinton
Obama kept trying to refocus this on issues that will affect people's lives. She kept wanting to talk about the gossip column. Her campaign continues to feast on the sludge.

17. We as Democrats have one hell of an up hill battle with this cock roach infested msm. Make no
mistakes about it. But maybe, just maybe, the American people are sick and tired of this bull shit.

And just because the battle is up hill, is certainly no reason not to fight. Let's give these bastards hell.

21. If Obama really was intuitive- he'd realize that it's past time to hand the likes of Gibson
or Stephenopolis their asses in their hands.

For some reason, Democrats just sit back and take the abuse- over and over from these condescending self-important pundits.

The general public doesn't like it -they don't much like most of media types either- and would LOVE to see them taken to task. Candidates who finally figure that out are going to gain a LOT of populist mileage, no matter what offices they're running for.

22. I don't agree. They have the upper hand. If he were to lash out at them, they would spin that also
Don't ask me how, but they would, and make it look real bad on him. Sometimes you got to keep your cool about you. Obama is smart. He will figure out how to use this to his advantage. There are several different ways to skip a goose my friend.

24. You don't have to "lash out" to hand someone their ass
Edited on Thu Apr-17-08 01:19 AM by depakid
indeed, if you do it that way (think GDP) you generally lose.

That doesn't mean, however, that you sit back and take the sort of crap that some smarmy pundit like say Russert routinely dishes out. People like him present a perfect opportunity for an upbraiding- using wit and perhaps some ridicule.

25. It was unbelievably disrepectful.
They would never have treated McCain like this.

They would never have treated any Republican like this.

The only example that comes remotely close is Russert's treatment of Hillary, but this went way beyond that.

No matter whom you support, Democrats should be disgusted by this farce. This hurts our party and hurts the country by debasing American politics.
