Clarence Page & Bill Press
were both just on Capitol Report.

Bill Press said Clark would either be Dem Pres candidate or VP candidate, & the Dems need him for foreign policy & nat'l security.

Carence Page said he thinks Wes Cark will be at top of ticket. Susan Molinari said Gebhardt is who the Repukes fear. Page laughed & said Clark is Bush's worst nightmare. Also said he would give anything to see Bush/Clark debate.

These are my feelings too. Go Wes!

Amazing how money gets you respect.

2. I've never heard a Republican say Clark was the one to fear
I've been waiting a long time for comments from the press like that. Seems recently even Bill Press couldn't say his name. Made me furious! Now I feel better!

3. Press just got his walking papers from MSNBC. Some DUers believe
he was cheerleading for Dean before he left.

4. He seemed to be pro- Dean
but Press is a Dem from way back & he would support any of the nominees. I think Clark is getting more buzz because he has become a much better candidate, he's raised all that money, & There was also talk about Dean mistakes, & some are starting to question his electability.

5. Susan Molinari is just repeating Rove's talking point
Gephardt is not the one the GOP fears, believe me.

6. Interesting
A day ago nobody was talking about Clark. Now that he has some money the pundits are paying a bit of attention.

What a difference a day (and 10 million dollars) makes.

7. Oh great. Susan "Gidget goes to the republican convention" Molinari.
Like she knows anything about anything. What an embarassment to the female gender!

Ever since I saw her give the keynote speech to the republi-CONS in San Diego, she's been a one woman Ipecac prescription.

Mongo NOT impressed.

12. Me 3
She is in it because that's what she learned from her dad. Her dad was also smart enough to stay out of the national scene. She isn't.

10. Molinari is still pushing the Gephardt thing.
She has been doing this for a while. It is a tired act. I guess she didn't get the latest memo. He father was a good politician. She is a disgrace.
