The polls today will show that Obama survived his trial by fire last night |
|
That's my prediction. Discuss.

8. Obama's unimpressed with the Clinton tag team. The country is sick of The Bubba Entitlement Tour. |
|
It's 'back to them thar hills' for the Clintons.

It depends how many people actually watched the debate. If people just watched the post-debate analysis he'll be fine...not sure how people who saw it will react. I wish they had at least done the issue segment first, because he probably would have done a lot better with that if he had not just endured 53 minutes of gotcha questions.

3. On the other hand, had he said what must have been on his mind, |

Hillary would play the "angry black man" card. (If he had said and done what I was yelling at the screen, he'd probably be under arrest. )

5. I rewatched the debate--Obama did fine under the circumstances |
|
His attempts to get the moderators to talk about the issues will not be seen by unbiased persons as defensive or whiny but as an attempt to get back to what matters.

7. Hopefully! Here is to that hope! |
|
So far tho the media seems to be refusing to talk about what a sham it was and wants to focus on Obama supposedly being on the defensive in a debate all night.

4. The polls from today won't even begin to address last night's debate. Check in a few days. |

I mean the initial response may be negative due to the fact that he was supposed to do well in a DEBATE. Yet it was not a debate it was a sham so we don't know.
The gains from this will be long term. (It ruins any chance Clinton microscopically had to convince the superdelegates to overturn the pledged delegates)

He knew he would be attacked and heckled and whatever else. But he also knew that he couldn't let it get him. Same reasons.
A hero.
