There's the hypocrisy in it all. Just like Kerry and Gore went to Vietnam, but it wasn't enough, while Bush never went to Vietnam but that was fine. Reagan could have worn Gerald Ford's penis on his lapel and it wouldn't have mattered. OK, maybe to Ford it would have.

3. this is not meant as disrespect to your question |
|
but i think the general question should be, is this a legitamate issue? i think the only important issue is getting this maniac out of the white house. we talk about candidates patriotism creditials and yet we have a boy in the white house who has trampled everything that is good about our country.

5. In Reagan's case, he might have. Or not. He isn't sure. |
|
If he did wear one he might not have known what it was. If he was not wearing one he likely wouldn't have missed it.
All he would have known is how upset Nancy was when Ron Jr was pracning around on the tv screen in his undies.

10. With Obama it's flag pins |
|
with Clinton it's pant suits vs dresses
Isn't it great to live in a country where the press only focus on significant, pressing issues.

It used to be something I joked about, but it hasn't been funny for awhile.
Thank goodness the public isn't as stoopid as the eggspurts.

15. He also threatens the status quo, which has lots of people shaking in |
|
their boots.
McCain and Clinton are given high marks for clearing a crack on the sidewalk, while Obama is expected to clear a pole vault crossbar without the pole. :grr:

8. Wearing a flag pin to prove you're an American is something akin to |
|
wearing a dildo to prove you're male.
I have no idea what flag lapel pins cost, but the money could almost certainly be used more wisely toward another purchase.

This is such a stupid topic!!!
Issues people, ISSUES!!!
Issues like gas prices, stagnant incomes, foreclosures, education, WAR, etc...
Flag pins are NOT an issue in my life!!! Flag pins do NOT resolve these everyday issues!
Move on, PLEASE!!!
