Chicken or egg? Do the Republicans decide everything or are we PRE-acting to the Republicans? |
|
Having watched the debate last night and the entire debate it appears that the Republicans get to decide what and how the campaign will consist of.
I am sick of this.
We have to stop following and for god's sake we are not the reactionaries THEY ARE!! We are progressive meaning we look forward and act and review and improve not this crap.
The Republicans are going to.... I have faced the Republicans before... We know what the Republicans are going to... The Republicans say....
Just stop it.

This is why so many Dems have become spineless: they spend all their time worrying about Republican attacks!
"We can't vote for this because the Republicans will call us names." "We can't say that because the RW media will criticize us." "We can't take a stand because they'll say we're 'un-American' and our patriotism will be questioned."
It was bad enough when it was our elected officials behaving in this manner, but now the rank-and-file Dems are doing, too.
"We can't nominate him, the Republicans will be mean to him." "We can't address these issues during the campaign because the Republicans are going to use it against us." "We can't have primary debates based on issues, because the Republicans will be slinging mud during the GE debates."
NOTE TO ALL SO-CALLED DEMS: There's no need to cater to the GOP in such a roundabout way. If you're so freakin' concerned about what the Republicans will say, think and do, then why don't you do us all a favor and join their party so you can serve them directly!

5. The GOP really doesn't care if it's an excuse. They just do it. |

4. It's disturbing that the Dems base what they should do or think |
|
based on how the Reps will react to it. It seems the Dems are beaten down and terrified of their own shadow.
Fuck the Reps! They don't worry or care what we think or what is best for this country.
