Hillary Clinton is unprincipled and foolish. |
Her embrace of the McCarthyite tactic of guilt-by-association to smear Barack with the actions and words of William Ayres is reprehensible. There was a time when Democrats spoke out against the evil inherent in tearing down one American by ascribing to him/her the controversial views of someone else. Clinton must think the type of moral courage that it took to speak out against the hysteria of red baiting in the 50's is "quaint". Her unashamed amorality of exploiting the still raw emotions of 9/11 based on joint service of Ayres and Obama on a board of directors is beneath contempt. The irony, of course, is that Clinton has a much more easily exploited tie to the violence of the 60's. Someone who supported the Black Panthers in the Rackley murder case ought to be wise enough to know that her vulnerability in a guilt-by-association attack is considerably greater than Barack's. She has foolishly abandoned the moral high ground on this and will be unable to effectively refute the tactic when it is deployed against her. What an unprincipled fool she has revealed herself to be.

1. Are you sure that is the correct order? |
Could it be instead that she is foolish and unprincipled?
