If the media is so Pro Obama
Then I would assume that by tonight we will have nothing but endless coverage of the "screw em" story (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/04/16/hillary-clinton-on-workin_n_97017.html), which has now been corroborated by two others, for the next week. Or is this stuff only news when it's on youtube?

Congratulations Hillary, if this is what you want our political discourse to be about, looks like you're going to get it. All this "vetting" is great...

1. And here's a third person who was there to corroborate:
http://blogs.tnr.com/tnr/blogs/the_plank/archive/2008/04/16/what-did-hillary-say.aspx

Alan Wolfe, a professor of political science and director of the Boisi Center for Religion and American Public Life at Boston College, is a contributing editor at The New Republic.

Both Chris Orr and Michael Crowley have brought up Ben Barber’s recollection of how angry Hillary had been at a 1995 Camp David retreat that was attended by a number of intellectuals. “Screw ‘em” was the term of art she directed--shall I say bitterly?--against white working-class Southerners. Harry Boyte, who was there, has also chimed in, pointing out, along with Barber, that Bill, by contrast, talked about the need to reach out to them.

"So, you've got two guys we've barely heard of remembering a verbatim quote from 13 years ago?... Sounds totally and completely reliable," responded Jay Carson from the Clinton campaign. Make that three. I was there. I hope people have heard of me. And Barber and Boyte have it right.

A lot of people compare Barack Obama to Bobby Kennedy. To me, he most resembles Bill Clinton, at least the Bill Clinton I knew then.

2. What's very telling is that Obama was SYMPATHETIC and understanding
even to those who resisted voting for him. She just gets nasty and vindictive.

3. Not much chance of that. It's a piece of pro-obama propaganda
bullshit.

7. As opposed to "bittergate"
being a piece of propaganda pushed by Hillary AND McCain? Why is that story worth a week of coverage and faux outrage, but not this?

10. Perhaps just a slight difference. Obama made that speech last week
& was recorded on tape.

11. So if it's not on tape it doesn't count I guess?
and I'm sure Hillary has had a big conversion since the comment (wouldn'nt be the first one)...

16. Limbaugh
No it was three advisor's to Bill Clinton. It was originally reported long ago, but it only now takes on real relevance because the campaign has descended into such bullshit. The point is if you want to make the campaign about 10 second off the cuff, off the record statements, this is what you get....

4. Why is there no "Screw em-gate"?
From the link in the OP:

8. No. Only MSNBC, Newsweek and, now the Daily Show
Isn't it interesting that the Obama supporters here swoon at every Olbermann zingers but when someone is trying to be more balanced, they scream bloody murder?

9. I think you have a
Fox news vantage point on balance. Balance= skewed toward your own personal view. If the media is going to spend all its time on this horseshit, how is having it cut both ways not balanced?

12. Shut the hell up
It seems everytime a story isn't blowing Barry Obama you clowns get into a hissy fit and blame everyone but Obama short comings. Barry Obama supporters are transforming into Bush supporters and Republicans by the day and it's funny as hell to watch. You can't defend his "record", you can't tell us why he should be president, you can't tell us why he's better than Hillary all you have is bullshit on top of more bullshit. And if he gets the nod and ends up getting smoked by McCain it's going to be all your fault that another corrupt Republican is sitting in the white house.

15. Actually I could do all those things
although it doesn't seem like someone taking your tone wants to hear it so why bother?

Nobody said he doesn't make mistakes, he said it himself, the whole point is why does the media focus on such bullshit. Obama is not the one pushing all this spin bullshit, if there are some obnoxious over the top supporters on DU, thats not his or the campaign's fault, there are plenty of the same for Hillary of which you seem to be one...

14. The media is not pro-Democratic anybody...
They are pro-Republican and pro-corporations. The sooner some folks realize that, the better for all of us.
