I think Obama will slash and burn the Democratic party to get nominated

When finally pressed by the previously fawning media he let his pique show. Not exactly grace under pressure. Rezko will doom him if not dealt with by the general, and maybe even then.

Whenever you read one of these folks, remember that
they're just "projecting" (their guilt, fears, and
plans) onto others.

I keep hearing this with no supporting evidence.

Eagerly awaiting your example of him "losing his cool," "being piqued," or any other example.

I'll donate $20 to Hillary if you can.

58. You see what you want to see...

The result was arguably one of Obama's weaker debate performances. He at times appeared annoyed as he sought to answer questions about remarks by his former pastor, his reluctance to wear an American flag pin on his lapel and his association in Chicago with former members of the Weather Underground, a radical group that carried out anti-government bombings in the 1960s.

28. In psychology, this is called "Projection"
In psychology, psychological projection (or projection bias) is a defense mechanism in which one attributes one’s own unacceptable or unwanted thoughts or/and emotions to others. Projection reduces anxiety by allowing the expression of the unwanted subconscious impulses/desires without letting the ego recognize them. The theory was developed by Sigmund Freud and further refined by his daughter Anna Freud, and for this reason, it is sometimes referred to as "Freudian Projection"

Keep telling Democrats the Democratic Party sucks and watch the Republicans and the DLC turn the nation even further to the fringe as some Democrats quit voting

Nice term. Actually, I think recently that at least half the greatest page is there from rec trolling or coordinated rec'ing. These days you can post "Obama sucks. nt" or "Hillary lies. nt" and get 50 recs.

Welcome to DU. Based on the links you found, it looks like you're someone who does their homework.

54. In 2004 Dennis said he was in it to win, as you know from your support at that time

Since your purpose is clearly to denigrate me, and not to discuss Dennis' strategy in suggesting a move to Obama in Iowa in order to bring down Clinton's numbers, I won't respond further to your personal attack.

Suffice it to say that Rep. Kucinich did not suggest Obama in the second round in Iowa as some sort of backhanded "endorsement." He suggested it only to improve his chances of being heard in that and in other primaries throughout the nominations process, just as his strategy of pitting contenders against the ostensible leader worked in 2004.

Dennis Kucinich uses all the political means at his disposal to get his message out, and the world is better for it.

Obama, on the other hand, relies on little but a mantra of "change" as an end in itself to draw starry-eyed acolytes into the web of his particular brand of grifting.

As for DK - he's a fucking politician. If you think he has a halo and wings, you're in for a rude awakening someday. And yeah, of course he said he was in it to win... just like JE said he was staying in right before he dropped out. It's called POLITICS.

As for DK's decision to side with Obama... I think he has a little more integrity than the average pol. He could have gone with Biden, Dodd, Richardson, or any of the rest... but you honestly think he only chose Obama to hurt Clinton & Edwards? He didn't pick those others cause what... he thought they had even less of a chance? Really?!

59. DK did not "side" with Obama - he used Obama just like any other politician would

You're just wrong if the point you are trying to make is that Dennis somehow "endorsed" Obama in Iowa. He did what any other politican would have done. He played one leader against another.

And none of this changes the fact that Obama is paper thin. He comes off like a grifter to anyone not under the Messiah spell. And when the general comes around, if he's the nominee, his lack of political depth and thin skin, not to say the thin skin of his supporters, will provide McCain with an advantage that will be hard to overcome (not to mention the Rezko scandal).

As for Rezko... whatever. All candidates have dirt. All else but pure politics aside: I'd rather put Obama & his campaign against McCain than Hillary and her JOKE of a campaign.

Let's see:

- someone who lies about dodging sniper fire vs. Bona Fide War Hero... hmmmmmmmmm...

- someone who voted for the war and backed up the neo-con lies about Iraq vs. a republican who did the same thing... hmmmmmmmm...

- someone who voted to extend Bush's tax cuts vs. a republican who did the same thing... hmmmmm...

Hillary has a .03% chance of being the nominee.

67. I don't know whether any slashing would ever be necessary...
...but it seems to me that he'd have to do less than Clinton would, at this point.

'Cause he's, like, got the support of more people so far.

73. Funny, project much?
It is Hillary in her March to the Sea that is slashing and burning the Democratic party. She will do anything, lie, cheat and steal to get what she thinks is rightfully hers. She is ready to sacrifice the party on the altar of her ego and greed.

"slash and burn the Democratic party" then it's already QUITE slashed and burned, not?

and Bitter-gate..and..oh yeah...His name is Barack Hussein Obama! And you left out how outraged you are because your vote didn't count in Florida and Michigan...and you forgot Ayers!! Oh yeah..you forgot that more people voted for the scary black man, than for the Washington entrenched white woman. That's sexism you know?
