Hillary supporters exposing themselves |
|
Edited on Thu Apr-17-08 03:14 PM by lynyrd_skynyrd
I've never seen such joy and excitement over an arranged mainstream media attack on a candidate - Except when I see the same thing from smug Republicans after a swiftboat ad.
Last night's "debate" was a farce. The questions were nothing but "gotcha" questions. No substance, no real issues. Distractions. This is what Hillary and Hillary supporters want.
The status quo.

There have been some reasonable Clinton supporters on here who have admitted that the debate was stacked against Obama and devoid of substance. Many of them have pointed out that she got a tougher shake from Russert in the last debate, which I think is true, although I don't think it was as lopsided or devoid of substance as last night's debate.

2. They keep saying that Obama finally got his share of "tough" questions, which |
|
is odd, because I don't recall anyone insulting Hillary with questions about her patriotism...or her former pastor's patriotism...

speaks for itself. I know it's just a handful of ding-dongs but they are so far off the deep end in demonizing Obama that it is pretty certain they will have to sit this one out in the GE. Like about half of all eligible voters anyway so a drop in the bucket.
Well... ta-ta and don't let the door hit you on the way out.

4. There's a very good reason why the debate was stacked against Obama. |

5. Ever seen them defend McCain? |
|
Obama speaks out against McCain and they forget which board they're on and attack Obama for attacking McCain?
Funny shit.

8. Some have been quite fair |
|
because they have been on the other side of this. I am, however, appalled that this swiftboating has produced so much pleasure for so many.

10. There have been a few that loved the hate-fest last night - they're freepers. |
|
They showed their true colors last night, cheering for a right-wing hatchet job. If they were Democrats, no matter which candidate they supported, they would have condemned ABC with the rest of us.
Can I make a request of management here at DU?
HEY SKINNER!!! TOMBSTONE THOSE FREEPERS!!!

pssst. you never were on it..
You are right. It was like watching a 527 GOP commercial. But, I think Obama handled it very well. And made Hillary smirk and make some new gaffs of her own.
