Debate - On the Precipice of Global Conflict, Depression, Famine, Eco-Disaster & Tyranny
"Are you now or have you ever been, a boogeyman from the collective unconsious of thoroughly propogandized Americans?"

I'll say it again.

The SD's will be out soon and join the voters, bringing Obama to the requisite number for the nomination. Clinton will not concede with grace until August, no matter what. There will be continued litigation and complicity from the Corporate Media, spinning the Florida/Michigan self martyrdom.

We will exit the Convention with only ten weeks for Obama to campaign against McCain. Clinton may at that time profer some "support," but it will be meaningless by that time.

The only hope I believe we have is to keep working the phones and donating for Obama, BUT presume now, the Primary Contest is over, and register new voters for November.

Act as if Obama is the nominee, but at least SOME of Clinton's supporters will make good on their promise to vote for McCain.

Put OUT the tent-stakes and invite the cynical, non-voting majority as well as our progressive brethren in the Green Party home... with US, where they belong.

I have a tambourine and a gospel choir ready to go.

I'll be registering voters in Missouri and working the phone... you?

I think it's time... high time.

let it sink if you like... this is my humble opinion.

1. Agreed -- that's one tactic * used to great effect
Act like you're the president, get your transition team going, and then
sue against the other guy because counting the votes will puncture your
balloon ...

I think Obama really DOES need to start acting like the presumptive nominee.
Even if the the corporate mediawhores keep giving Bomb Bomb a free pass,
he can start pushing back. Ignore Hillary ... She's like the inflatable
clown that will just keep bouncing back up. Since he isn't going to get her
to cave, he should accept that he has the votes for the nomination and move
on.

3. How about a Debate with McCain NOW... not inviting Clinton?
Who would dare sponsor that?

League of Women Voters?
