You Hillary Supporters Just Don't Get How Many People Dislike Hillary..... |
|
Edited on Thu Apr-17-08 05:49 PM by KansasVoter
It is something you Hillary people just don't get, how Hillary rubs so many people the wrong way.
You are so EXCITED about Hillary winning the debate but don't realize that she will still gain no more support. It will not matter to any Obama supporter. Not at all. And Only Hillary supporters think she won. Look at any online poll.
People just do not like her. Her supporters as of 3 months ago are still her only supporters. She gains in no polls and her lead in most states drops a lot the more she campaigns there.
In Texas she had a 20 point lead and maybe won by 1%. In Ohio she had a 20 point lead and won by 9%. Wow, as she campaigns she losses support. Look at PA, 26 point lead 6 weeks ago and down to 6 now.
Her negatives are always around 50-60%. And they are worse now than a month ago.
So the excitement you have over last night is a joke. The polls won't change and she will still lose the nomination.

4. Zogby has them at a dead heat. She has never beaten barack by any overwhelming margin. |
|
In New Hampshire and Texas, despite her wins, he gained more delegates.
People are turned off by her negative campaigning. We had enough of that over the last two election cycles. People are SICK of it. It is reflected by the polls. HRC continues to drop like a lead balloon. The media only wants to keep the horserace going because it brings them ratings and more money.

I saw a post earlier that said that you had to be a woman, gay, paid or a fool to support Clinton. Pretty offensive stuff.
Your last line is also pretty offensive.

You're conservative prudes who can't take a little rough language without getting your panties in a bunch(just an expression!). People who are easily offended and look down on people who use four letter words or whatever remind me of that future society from the movie Demolition Man. Maybe that's where you ultimately want to take America eh? All hail President Shwarzenegger!

It wasn't about rough language. It was about the position that you have to be a woman, gay, paid or a fool to support one of our democratic candidates. There is a lot in that statement to be offended by.
I don't know who the *us* you refer to encompasses, but there are many here who would not wish to be included in your group.

Look at the post that was directed at you....what the heck does what someone said in another thread have to do with the thought put out in the OP? Nothing.
That's a non-sequitir and a strawman....you can leave them well-enough alone.

8. See, you lump all hrc supporters in one group and when some |
|
one lumps Barry supporters in one group we might get an email from the mods. It does not bother me I got one because when I believe someone is a bigot and anti Jew I have to say something. If I just allowed all this to pass by without saying anything then I would forsake my family and my past.
Maybe what you need to do is stay off DU till after the elections. Because seems to me each time you come in here it is all about "HATE" for HRC.
Hate hurts everybody. To hate someone is to diminish yourself as well as the person you hate. Since every human is created in the image of G-d, to hate someone is to diminish G-d and to distort the reality of the universe. Hate is powerful. Hate is destructive. You will always gain by getting rid of hate.

|
Edited on Thu Apr-17-08 05:17 PM by Unbowed
That really, book smart but clueless nerd in high school who always raised their hand and answered in the most obnoxious and smug manner possible. You know the one who had all the dates and places from the history book committed to memory? The one who always got an "A" by virtue of study and memorization but had little imagination or insight or deep understanding of the lessons that were supposed to be learned from the subject.
Remember how even the teachers disliked that kind of know-it-all and tried to get anyone else to answer first?
That's Hillary. She's so impressed with herself that there's little room for anyone else in her self-centric universe.
No wonder she's disliked. Add her gutter-style ethics and it's not surprising she's loathed.
Repulsive is the word that comes to mind after watching last night's debate.

There are some people who hate, but please don't fall into the trap that everyone who doesn't support or who criticizes Hillary does it out of hate. Please leave hate to the Christian right and the conservatives. They do it so well.
There are people who take issue with Hillary's positions, or who feel she's too tightly connected to right-wing corporate interests, or who think her campaign has been a train wreck of her own making. But, despite what some Hillary supporters say here, pointing that out does not mean you hate her.

42. I cannot speak for everyone. But I certainly understand |
|
that there are many people who are swayed by the media. I personally will not let the right-wing pick my candidate for me. The vast right wing conspiracy was real. They vilifed Clinton redefining her and creating a personality that was not real, not accurate. And stupid people bought it--just like today. People listen to the lies and distortions and recreations of Clinton and then hate her.
I get it. And I am saddened that more do not get it.

starts at the top, with Hillary herself. Her running for the Presidency at all is one of the most extreme examples of self-delusion in history. Rightly or wrongly, nearly half the population of this country despise the woman, and will vote for anyone rather than her. And vote they will. She is the one person certain to mobilize the conservatives to vote, even after the embarrasing fiasco of the past seven years. If she had the slightest grasp of reality, she would never have considered running for the Presidency, especially at this critical time. But she lives in a dream world, surrounded by sycophants and enablers, who care nothing about the country, only what they can milk out of her if she achieves that kind of power. They are just as delusional as she is, thinking they can win this using the same old dishonest, manipulative, top-down tactics that worked in the 90s. But they can't, and I wonder what is going to happen to Hillary's sanity when her world of illusions comes crumbling down. New York better be prepared to replace their senator PDQ.
