anger and hatred towards Obama |
|
from what i see much of the anger and hatred towards Obama is based on people thinking he took away what belonged to the Clintons. that he decided to run this year in the first place makes them angry. i think a lot of people are having a tough time getting past just this.
this includes the media which before the voting started had talked about the 2008 campaign with the assumption that the Democratic Nominee would be Hillary Clinton.
that's why you see a lot of talk dismissing some of his biggest supporters. as if Obama's victory to date does not count becacuse it was based on him getting votes from young people and/or black voters. this is the tyhpe of thing Rush Limbaugh and other Republicans say when they always talk about how if you take out a certain group of voters then the other candidate would have won.
look at the desperation in using anything that shows Obama is not perfect as reason he should not be the nominee. never mind that Hillary has had far worse moments and many more such as the Sniper lie, Penn and her husband's Columbia trade support, her not winning any state for weeks.

4. Amen - Certain MSM hates him for no other reason than to bring him down |
|
Here you have a man who does not go out of his way to attack others, shows he won't press when issues like snipergate are lobbed at him (last night for example) and rises above it. Here is a very good man that appears bullet proof and for that reason only, people want to shoot at him just to see. Sad.

ROBBING the poor to give to the rich (i.e.: tax cuts for the rich); endless war; editing scientific documents to put the government in a better light (global warming, etc.). Give me a break!!!!!!!
DUBYA wins the prize hands down.
P.S. Clinton's fiasco was unfortunate--but it was "personal" and had no effect on our country.
So now I want you to Contrast and Compare........

57. Clinton's personal fiasco did have an effect on the nation. |
|
It cost millions of taxpayer dollars for the Republicans to put on that show, redirected resources from the Justice Department, distracted the focus of the Executive branch from national security issues to this tawdry affair, and added much vitriol to the already highly charged polarized political rhetoric of the nation. It was beyond unfortunate...it was a personal disaster and a national disgrace. The national discord and distress that impeachment process caused contributed to unwillingness of Congress to stand up to Bush.
Clinton has gotten all the pass from the left that his political capital could purchase. He was defended at the time when he really deserved the condemnation, particularly of the same women who so eagerly leap to his defense even now, for his sexual exploitation of an intern in the workplace. For every job I know of in the public sector, such behavior is punishable by firing.
We need to be working on the future, and for some of us that means losing the drama and the distraction of the dysfunctional Clinton-Bush clans. Period. The nation needs to be able clean house and open the windows and doors to let some sunlight and fresh air in.

13. Oh yes it is..there's more to being Pres than running a campaign because |
|
Bush ran a better campaign than either Gore or Kerry and he's been the worst president ever. Obama has runa decent campaign, but when he gets into trouble, his glass jaw shows...that's a real concern. Besides, there's nothing in his resume to lead me to believe he would be able to accomplish anything meaningful.

20. Hell, hillary can't pay her bills |
|
she can't stop telling lies, she submits to peer pressure and shots whiskey like she is on spring break, she can't control her husband who tries to explain her lies by saying she is old and old folks have bad memories after 11 pm.
She thought she would be the nominee by Feb 5, he campaign hasn't raised enough money to run ads and pay the folks that deserve to be paid, she has/had and advisor that was meeting on issues which allegely she is agains, her husband takes $800,000.00 from the folks that want the trade policies she opposes.....
I could go on, but there is no need as you know in your gut she has failed and failed miserably.
All of the failures are her own, she has made the bad choices, done the stupid things, trusted the wrong people and aligned herself with the wrong folks.
Suck it up, she is the failure and won't be the nominee.
Just imagine if Obama runs his office like he has his campaign how much better off we will be.

... Better people would rather that NO Democrat go through what Clinton has gone thru for the last decade - but no DU Clinton supporters! They're genuinely GLEEFUL that another Democrat is treated so shabbily, encourage it, and team with rightwingers to further it.
EDIT: And then like cowards they quickly shove their hands behind their backs and say "not me".

48. Parsing? No way! Hillary said plain as day Obama just had a speech! |
|
It requires no parsing of words to make that sound like Obama just had a speech. In fact she said Obama just had a speech! Get it?
She, on the other hand, said McCain had a life time of experience. On another day, she said he was qualified to be Commander in Chief, but Obama....same refrain....just had a speech.
Get. Friggin. Real.
There is only one way to interpret this. McCain is better than Obama in terms of experience and as a commander in chief. If that is not an endorsement vis a vis Obama, what the friggin hell is?
What is it about the liar Hillary who attracts supporters who have difficulty being straight shooters? She said McCain is better commander in chief than Obama. And the Hillary Herd tries to pretend she didn't say it?
Wow what a woman. She says such crap that her supporters have to pretend she didn't say! Why on Earth would we support such a crap shooter?

Where to begin. Saying student voting in Iowa is illegal. Saying Obama's "present" votes indicate lack of support of choice. The multitude of racial remarks from her campaign. Constantly saying any state she hasn't won doesn't count. Losing the delegates in Texas, but continuing with the race even though she previously said she had to win Texas. Whining about sexism any time she gets challenged by the media.
And then there's her position on Iraq, Iran, NAFTA, health care, social security....
