8. Obama said those that wear the flag pin were fake patriots - they should speak out like he
does

The broad brush of that comment will hang him in the fall - the same way G H Bush killed us in 68 via photo ops at flag shops and flag factories as a way to imply the Duke was elitist.

65. Read the words "substitute for .. true patriotism"
"You know, the truth is that right after 9/11, I had a pin. Shortly after 9/11, particularly because as we're talking about the Iraq War, that became a substitute for I think true patriotism, which is speaking out on issues that are of importance to our national security, I decided I won't wear that pin on my chest. Instead,I'm going to try to tell the American people what I believe will make this country great, and hopefully that will be a testimony to my patriotism."

How pathetic you folks don't even know how to understand what you read.

They did become a substitute for patriotism, you could wear that flag pin and vote against the interests of the nation, the interests of humanity. You could wear that pin and vote for to invade a sovereign nation that had never threatened the US and get away with it.

and guess what, McCain doesn't wear a pin either.

I have so much pity for so many that post here, it must be a great deal of hate that allows for distortions when the facts are right before you.

And the recording that will be played over and over again will be hillary saying mccain has more experience, so how do you feel about your candidate back stabbing a fellow dem?

Welcome! :hi:

And what of wigs? Can they not be produced in the heart-stirring colors of our great old glory? The womenfolk had best prove their love lest we believe there be some corruption of patriotic feeling within their bosom!

Rally all at once before the next full moon! George of the Greek surname whets a sharp eye toward our nation's full count of devotion. The very guardian of her glory!

Don the wig, ye ladies! Love the wig, else leave the land!

So when people give him shit about not wearing the flag lapel pin, he can drop trou and tell people to "kiss my ass". That way they can kiss his ass and honor the flag at the same time! This will work equally well for the "brown nosers" he'll undoubtably encounter when he's President!!

She wasn't against the war because Bill is the one that kept those illegal "no fly zones" going, the ones that made the US and GB the aggressors and the nations that first violated the cease fire.

But if she had found the courage to say, as a lawyer and as a senator, that we can't invade Iraq without the requisite UN approval, then they would have brought up the very simple fact that the "no fly zones" that Clinton had increased and supported during his administration were also against the UN Charter and were illegal.

A nice kettle of fish our leaders wallow in, they all stink.

36. It's our default state.
That's why when a Caucasion clergyman blames his fellow Americans for 9/11 it's okee dokee. It's understood that the stars n bars and apple pie and baseball are encoded in his DNA and he's just being "helpful". And Jesus looks like us, according to the movies and paintings.

Brown people are by default suspect because they are genetically and constitutionally incapable of understanding why America is never wrong and white people should rule. They angry tend to get irrationally angry about silly stuff like genocide, slavery, and institutional bigotry.

That is obviously Pelosi and the DLC's best bet to get on the VP ticket. Naturally she has endorsed Obama even though the "netroots" still believes the fairy tale that Obama is anti-DLC.

Now let's look at some prominent males.

Harry Reid apparently does not wear one.

Most men in politics do. That said, Obama not being white is unfortunately a factor. He made the problem worse by hyping not wearing one as some sort of great act. Add pastor "God damn America!" for two decades, his wife's comment and you have a perfect storm surrounding the issue.
