My inner Nancy Drew asks: How did he (Stephanopoulos) know she didn't want to talk about it?
Edited on Thu Apr-17-08 09:45 PM by Phoebe Loosinhouse
Stephanopoulos:
Senator Clinton, when Bill Richardson called you to say he was endorsing Barack Obama, you told him that Senator Obama can't win. I'm not going to ask you about that conversation; I know you don't want to talk about it. But a simple yes or no question: Do you think Senator Obama can beat John McCain or not?

Stephanopoulis references a conversation but "I know you don't want to talk about it"

How did he know that? Who told him she didn't "want to talk about it". When did they tell him that? Was it in reference to these debates? Why did he respect that request? Did Obama also get to provide a list of things he didn't want to talk about?

In short, did Stephanopoulos collude with the Clinton campaign before the debate? His phrasing of this specific debate question makes me pose this.

AdditionallY: She certainly seemed poised and ready to disuss Ayers, another topic introduced by Stephanopoulos

1. Um, she has been asked by tons of interviewers about that, and she has refused to talk about it.
Pretty obvious.

9. so that exempts her from discussing it in a debate?
and maybe you could provide links to those tons of interviewers asking her that question.

3. It was obvious they had talked about the questions BEFORE the debate.
George and Hillary put on a show for the audience. She was prepared for each question because she cheated. She had the questions ahead of time. And he gave them to her. He was playing the good little Clinton soldier he's always been.

21. Numerous sources reported in early April..
..that Hillary refused repeatedly to discuss her conversation with Gov. Richardson regarding Obama's electibility. All ya gotta do is google.

5. By now, IMO, it should be obvious to everyone that the only way that...
...Hillary knows how to play is to play dirty and dishonest.

:puke:

IMO, your inner Nancy is right on!

I'm quite sure I heard her say that in response to queries from the press

I think she had rehearsed answers for questions and knew in advance and I'd love to bust her....

13. You're right...
Both she and Richardson have said they don't want to talk about the details of the phone call. I don't see any there there.

14. But Obama just couldnt wait to talk about Wright and flag pins..
That was a horrible excuse for a debate.. Though I really am finding it hard to complain too much about this because every time he responded to these stupid questions he looked very confident and gave great answers.. It was like watching a Bruce Lee movie and he took on the whole gang and still won.

20. I don't know...he probably had an agreement with her campaign but he's a Pig...
Edited on Thu Apr-17-08 10:25 PM by KoKo01
who turned on Clinton as fast as he could get out once election was over...His model wife is rich...he wears nice clothes and got that cushy ABC job WITHOUT ANY EXPERIENCE! How did he do that? I don't think the Clintons did it for him. Maybe "Snuffy" is a CIA PLANT was embedded in Clinton Campaign to "rat on them" to get his ABC job. What about Joe Klein? Same thing...get's big Media Pundit job..when he Rats on Clintons. Either the whole Clinton Administration was filled with "plants" who got rewarded right away for ratting them out...or the Clintons were very "clueless" about how they got elected.

That whole "Myth of the Clinton Machine" has spawned quite a few turncoats and those who could have been "moles" who did them NO FAVORS! Carville/Begalla, Joe Klein, Dick Morris, Robert Reich, George Stephanopoulis, Dee Dee Myers and there's more that cut out early.

If I were Nancy Drew I would be digging through the history of all those who left early and wondering why they did....
