I have no proof nor do I even care if it was intentional. If it was intentional, then it's brilliant. Why you ask?

Well people are starting to understand that the media is focusing on non-issues. If the media or Clinton campaign tries to pick this up and run with it, it would backfire big time. Obama would simply explain to people that he was scratching his face and people are being absurd. Silly season yet again.

The media and the Clinton campaign would look foolish to raise the issue anyway. Obama could just say this is politics as usual and people are focusing on silly stuff instead of the economy, Iraq, or health care.

Bottom line, if it was intentional it was brilliant. The media either doesn't pick up on it and nothing happens or they do pick up on it and they end up looking even more foolish and trust in the media will decline even further.
