I never thought I would have as many on ignore as I do now (max EVER was like 5 or 6 in the past). But I've decided it's good for my blood pressure and helps me not engage in ugly behavior. So I just plonk those who namecall, make bigoted innuendos, only post insults, or who use any other variety of RW (or childish) tactics here. It does make for a MUCH better experience at DU.

6. For the record, there are many who do not hate Obama and

will support him as the nominee (I'm one). It is wildly frustrating to
be to be categorized as and sometimes called an Obama-hater simply for supporting another candidate. I do not think you are one who does that and don't read your OP that way. But, let's see how many do use it as some type of global accusation. :shrug:

I read that hillaryclintonforum.net site every day. I love it *so* much. I understand why it was originally made (there aren't enough venues online for her supporters), but it has gotten so out of control, it's on the border of lunacy. I eat it up.

They've gotten so emotionally involved with Hillary and this process that you read posts that you would SWEAR are fake. "No way somebody could actually write that. That's a troll." I think that over and over. Out-of-touch doesn't come close to describing them.

One suggested that Hillary replace Mark Penn with Karl Rove. This post was not met with disapproval, btw. Just let that one sink in.

Anyhow, I'm going to drown in schadenfreude watching the faithful complete their metamorphasis from Smeagol to Gollum when she concedes. All of them will vote for John McCain. All of them. But it's okay.

I often think that when I see Obama's most faithful votaries declaring that a lousy debate performance or a boneheaded remark actually help him. Everything helps him.

It's like one of those party congresses in the old Soviet Union, with people clapping until their hands bleed and joyously declaring that Comrade Stalin's newest five year plan will surely fill the granaries and send the counterrevolutionaries fleeing.

The only hatred I see here is directed at HRC. I don't hate Obama and will certainly vote for him or whoever gets the nomination, but I am pretty disgusted with his adherents and worshippers. To paraphrase a great oracle of the future.

You can definitely question and disapprove. But, you cannot hate on the Democratic Nominee.
