Idiot Krugman was a cheerleader for "free" trade.

Of course he is going to bash Obama and cheerleader for the free-trade (ship American jobs overseas while allowing for world-wide worker exploitation) Clintons.

He was critical of industrial policy (an approach Clinton later dropped under the influence of Robert Rubin and Lawrence Summers) and argued in favor of free trade. (He writes on p. xxvi of his book The Great Unraveling that "I still have the angry letter Ralph Nader sent me when I criticized his attacks on globalization.")

The AFL-CIO opposed it but he still voted for it.

Even if he was a "cheerleader" for "free trade", it doesn't mean that what he says on other topics is false.
