North Dakota--poll?
Has anyone seen any polls coming out of North Dakota?

It's a February 3rd state, so I'm curious.

1. having been there
I'd wonder if there are enough people to poll.
But, as to the question - nothing I'm aware of. Probibly everyone is focusing on Iowa ( where I am ) and the the next state New Hampshire, If memory serves me correctly.

4. Why would we poll Canadians? Eh?
Just kidding, but that North thing is really a turn-off to tourists.

11. Actually, my uncle went to school in
North Dakota, and he says there are four seasons there: early winter, mid-winter, late winter, and next winter!

living in grand forks for a year thirty years back, I can testify to the single most beautiful autumn I will ever see. Coldest place in the country all winter, which thawed into a gorgeous spring soon enough. definitely a sweet area in a rather flat desolate state, full of good people.

6. lol...
Okay, I didn't think anyone would find a ND poll.

But, does anyone know enough about North Dakota to speculate which Dem they might lean towards?

7. My guess would be Clark
For the simplistic reason that Clark had a long and pretty successful military career. One thing North Dakotans love is missile silos!

8. Clark
I was just there over Christmas and it sounds like he has some buzz.

I grew up there. Even the Dems up there are reasonably conservative so Clark's military background will play well with them.

14. Conrad & Dorgan
anyone know why Conrad & Dorgan are popular Democratic senators in ND and yet the state is so Republican in the Presidential races? will there be more Dems voting in this ND primary than we may think?

15. Yeah, Conrad & Dorgan bring home the bacon.
ND is a farm state.

The repugs vote to keep local taxes low (Result: No services) and for Conrad & Dorgan to bring in federal farm subities.(Their bottom line.)

ND has a problem keeping it's young around when it is time to them to look for a job to live on.

Most state residents can't see the connection and wonder why the towns are dying.

16. They will have caucuses...
and since there's very few people in ND, a poll is very hard. Clark is planning to mobilize 5k people, and Dean is planning to contact 10k.
