Whats with Harold Ford Jr..... is he really a Democrats?
why is he on 'Race to the White House' talking bout how John McCain will
approach this election and how he should campaign against Obama.

Is he that senile for him to actually pitch his party's opponents on
TV, whats up with him.

I would have sworn I heard him talk tactically about how John McCain
can defeat Obama in the general election.

MG! they are coming out in force from all angle and are not even
hiding anymore.

Seriously, this guy makes me <excuse while I> :puke:

I'm I the only one noticing this trend from him?

I've never cared for the guy. Too smarmy for my liking.

27. I thought something was wrong the way he reacted
to the questioning in the debate as reasonable not tabloid. Said that Obama was whining. It looked to me Obama was enjoying himself, setting the record straight on what really matters. The media is who's out of touch with the average voter.

7. Clinton wing of the party knows Obama is the nominee and they are working against him.
They have obviously decided that the only chance they have of staying relevant is to come back after a McCain win and say 'I told you so' but, it also means they have to undermine Obama PUBLICLY this goround, where they had the luxury of undermining Gore and Kerry behind the scenes without the rank and file Democrats even noticing.

15. Carville wanted to put Ford in as DNC chair (ousting Dean) after '06 races
SerpentHead didn't like the way Dean was allocating resources and he and
other Clinton supporters were pushing to put in Ford instead. Didn't
work (thank God) so they made him DLC head instead.

18. They planned to usurp the DNC in 2007 to use the work Dean did for Hillary's benefit.
There were only TWO national networks of any strength by 2006 - the one Kerry put together in 2003-4 that he maintained and Dean's DNC that he worked to strengthen after Terry McAuliffe's pisspoor stewardship.

So - Dean is keeping the DNC primed ONLY for the Dem nominee, and the OTHER national network of Kerry's has been working for Obama and growing stronger than ever.

Clintons FUCKED UP with all their years of backstabbing and undermining any other Democratic leader who stepped up over the last 8 years to oppose Bush.

Wow -- GREAT details ...
I'm just thankful that there are plenty of "elder statesmen" on the order
of Kerry who are supporting Obama this time out, instead of caving in to
the Clinton machine. It's about time the party stopped being about just
individuals and started standing for IDEAS again. I get so tired of Dems
raving about what a GREAT politician Bill Clinton was (and I put that in the
past tense because I think he's lost that talent) because we can't afford
to just wait for the right PERSON to come along -- we need to do "Artist
Development" as they say in the music business, grooming leaders for the
future and establishing a "brand" that transcends its proponents.

He's probably pissed at Obama being the first viable black presidential
candidate (because Ford's family was no doubt grooming him for that honor).

29. I am a Tennessean
During the 2006 election, I kept telling fellow Dems that Harold Ford was going to lose. They asked if I believed he would lose because he was too liberal. I told them he would lose because he was trying to run as more of a conservative Republican than Bob Corker, the Republican candidate. They laughed. Ford lost. The country was changing, and anybody with half a brain could see it. If Harold Ford had run as a true Democrat he would have kicked Corker's ass. But Ford doesn't seem to have half a brain, and now he thinks being a right-leaning DLC is the way to go. May his political career wither into dust, and the DLC along with him. I want to vote for a DEMOCRAT, not a faux Republican.

Kerry is very liberal. Why doesn't he want Barack to win? Perhaps he is really chummy with Clinton. I don't think he wants to come out and endorse her because he is afraid that the people in Memphis (heavy black population) will give him a hard time.
