1. i'm not sure he would
maybe he might but only to specifically talk about stem cell research or something like that. while he will be voting for kerry and agrees with kerry more than republicans, he still seems like he wants to remain an independent and not actually get into party politics.

for now, i'm just happy to see him bashing bush as he is.

6. He may realize, however, that there's more to it at this point
than party politics. He might do it. He seems to realize how grave the situation is.

7. true
he could make a speech on stem cell research and say that's why he is supporting kerry. this would allow him to remain independent and not be seen as just another party member, while at the same time supporting a cause which is very important to him and in the process helping to defeat bush.

5. Ron Reagan Jr. said he doesn't like...
politicians who mix politics and religion and wear their religion on their sleeve. He also said that he wouldn't belong to a political party full of bigots and hypocrites -- the Republican party to be specific. Ron said he was an independent and when asked who he would vote for he said that "the way it looks now, it's Kerry."

4. That is an inspired idea
:toast:

Don't know if he'd do it but that would be terrific.

9. Thanks ...
Not to be crude, but it might take some of the steam out of the Reagan funeral bump as well?

:hi:
