Clinton Surrogate Actively Trying to Link Obama to 70's Radicals
And you thought she couldn't sink any lower...

A high-ranking labor supporter of Hillary Clinton is distributing
to union leaders and to Democratic strategists a document detailing the
radical activities of Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn, two former members of
the '70s group the Weather Underground
, who decades later, in Chicago,
crossed paths with Barack Obama.

The document - a three-page emailed essay by Rick Sloan,
communications director for the International Association of Machinists as
Aerospace Workers (IAMAW) -- takes both literary and political license to
outline what Sloan believes would be the thrust of a hypothetical
Republican campaign against Obama focusing on his tangential connection to
Ayers and Dohrn.

The goal of the essay appears to be to discredit Obama as the
prospective Democratic presidential nominee.

1. Her campaign actively disgusts me. The Superdelegates are going to punish her hard.
And they will be completely justified.

2. NPR did a great debunking of William Ayers and the Weather Underground yesterday.
Edited on Sat Apr-19-08 10:59 AM by sparosnare
They detailed the history of the Underground; how they would plant bombs and then warn everyone so no one would get killed. NO ONE ever died from one of their bombs except a couple of their own members who accidentally tripped a detonator. They pointed out how Hillary lied in the debate when she tried to link WU to 9/11 and that she implied innocents died from WU's actions when they didn't.

Whatever Rick Sloan is trying to do here, it isn't going to work.

4. I'm glad to hear this is being debunked already.
But it might work.

Unfortunately for the Clinton campaign it will work for us. It will drive her negatives even deeper.

of the "those birkenstock wearing, latte sipping, trust fund babies!" fame. That was so ridiculous, lol. So over the top and Republican sounding.
