5. Barack is not as nice as you think...You've been hoodwinked.
You've had the wool pulled over your eyes and you can't see straight...or hear either. He's told blatant lies to you and you can't even see it because you're too busy trying to defame Hillary.

9. Please Tell Me As I Sincerely Want To See What You Say I'm Not Seeing.........
After 7+ years of *Co I'm seeing some similar traits and tactics being used by HRC and her campaign. Some are subtle - many are blatant. So I guess I'm buying into not wanting politics as usual and therefore I'm supporting 'change' in DC.

But if I'm not seeing this in BO and I should be - I really would like to have someone point this out to me. I want to keep an open mind and hear both sides. I don't think I'm blinded by his 'words'. I met the man during his first year as US Senator. Visited his office in DC and did some supportive work for a group of health professionals. He listened to us. He asked us questions. We asked him for his support. He said he would support us and he did support the group by way of writing a letter. I see him as a man of his words. This is why I support him - a first hand experience. BUT - if you are seeing something that I should be seeing and I'm just blinded by my experience in dealing with this man - please enlighten me.

I guess I'm realistic enough to know that nobody is perfect and I'm just picking the person that I think best verbalizes what I'm wanting in my government. Believe me I don't agree with all that he says or all that he stands for. I'm not totally behind his direction on 'health care'. But I do believe that he will move that along and make the system better than it is today. My ideal candidate for his health care stance was Dennis Kucinich.

11. Right, we're blind, and you can see.
Hillary, who gets caught in a new lie every week, is as pure as the wind driven snow, so Barack, who never gets caught in a lie, is the liar.

Its getting old.

6. Obama supporters have no sense of humor.
It's one of their required character traits.

let's run down the list and see how many Clinton supporters are among the recipients. Maybe there's still time to court, bribe or smear JeffR with everyone he's known since kindergarten. lol

15. JeffR is an Obama supporter.
Edited on Sat Apr-19-08 11:35 AM by Maddy McCall
It's no surprise that most of the "DUzys" are by Obama supporters.

It's also no surprise, because very few Hillary supporters post at DU anymore. Many left because of the bullying by Obama supporters.

Regardless, the Duzys used to be funny. Now they're just partisan and back-patting, and rarely funny anymore--and they are hardly a gauge of who has the best sense of humor at DU.

JMHO.

future of our country.

Would you think it was funny if George W. Bush said - tell the people I'm not as bad as they think?

12. What does it say about a candidate....
that tells his staff to instruct his volunteers not to talk about policy or issues, but to give undecided voters their testimony of how they "came to Obama" and how "Obama changed my life"?

19. Maddy...
I've been volunteering for the past 10 weeks. At no time did a staffer tell me to talk about how Obama changed my life or how I came to Obama. They've asked me to tell people why I support Barack personally because my reason is the one I can talk the most passionatley on not the talking points of the day.
