Confused. Still waiting on Clinton's new SHAME ON YOU farce for PA
Edited on Sat Apr-19-08 11:15 AM by quantass
It just doesnt seem becoming of a presidential hopeful when you will do anything and say anything SOO often that we as the public (Obama & Hilary Supporter, and foreigner) have come to expect this sort of thing in the coming days. Embarrassing. It sounds so Bush. But it does make good TV for us Canadians -- like a movie: change vs the status quo, good vs evil.

Anyway, i just wanted to hear your thoughts on what Hillary has planned for us in the next 3 days. What will be the new "Shame On You" mockery. My guess something on gun control.

1. She tried the gun thing already with the Annie Oakley routine...
My guess is she'll drop all pretenses and just call him the N-word.;):sarcasm:

7. and that Annie Oakley thing wasn't unprovoked ridicule to you?
and hypocrisy, since Obama, himself, has been photographed drinking and has pandered right along with the rest; milking cows, the ridiculous-looking bowling exhibition . . .

Maybe Obama will drop his own pretenses, lift a finger, and show Hillary how he really feels.

9. Annie Oakley was tame compared to...
What Clinton was saying about Obama at the time.

"Elitist"
"He looks down on Pennsylvanians."

She basically called him two-faced.

So when he makes a crack about her trying to be Annie Oakley for all of her "I shoot guns" talk, it seems like she got the softer brunt of the attacks to me.

11. it's only 'tame' to an Obama supporter.
I can think of similar mockeries of Obama which would make heads explode. Myopia.

12. Really? Try me.
He's been called elite, effete, too black, not black enough. Those were from Clinton advocates.

He's been called "boy". By a Republican.

I could go on but please tell me what Clinton could say that would shock me.

Also, while you're at it, explain what's so offensive about the term "Annie Oakley"? Maybe there's is some deeper offensive meaning that I'm missing. I want to understand.

13. you can't be seriously comparing words spoken by 'advocates'
And, my argument was clear enough about the hypocrisy of the Obama camp in calling Clinton out for pandering.

2. I think her campaign plans to use Ayers, etc to motivate the racist vote.
And they have to do that quietly. So no huge public declarations.

Just robocalls and flyers.

5. They use Ayers and Clinton will find herself in a lawsuit faster than she can say 3AM!!!!
Ayers is not a terrorist and has done good. So if she tries that she will be sued for defamatory statements.

8. It's gutter politics at its worst.
I hope I'm wrong but that does seem to be the go-to tactic for them when they must win.

3. She wont do it. She knows people will see RIGHT through it.
Within hours of her trying some 3AM thing the pundits will be all over it and anyone who listens to the radio or watches the news will see it exposed.

She is not dumb enough to risk a long term big loss in support. 3AM did ALOT more damage to her campaign in the long term.
