20. Your header is deliciously ironic |
|
Several? Among about 24? I'll take that percentage.
Again, the math seems to be coddled except when it doesn't favor Obama. He's fared erratically in debates and debates figure to be decisive in a general election within a cycle with one party holding power exactly 2 straight terms. That's the history, debates in '60, '76 and '00 shaping the outcome, if not reversing what would have evolved minus the debates. This is hardly '04, when one side had an incumbency edge and the debates weren't enough to nullify it.
Whether or not Obama takes more debates against Hillary, he damn sure needs to tighten and improve his debating skills for the fall. I would think a one-on-one primary debate late in the cycle would be the closest and most relevant approximation.

Democratic Nominee Barack Obama.
He has risen despite facing the CLinton Machine and the RW smear Machine at the same time.
If Clinton will ever leave the stage with her loss, Obama will grow stronger against the RW smear machine.

Obama needs ONLY 80 more Superdelegates, and half the remaining PD's to lock it.
Hillary needs 65% of the PD's and 275+ of the remaining Supers. It's not gonna happen.

and they are trying any and every ploy they can think of to try and keep her on TV. You could actually SEE her reading what she wanted to say in her head. It was like she KNEW her answers ahead of time and I'm willing to bet anyone here that she absolutely DOES have a photographic memory-my wife saw it first, the way her eyes were moving back and forth. It's either that or she really IS in-fucking-sane

that she WAS in on it. The Ayers thing was an obvious set-up. She had to have known it was coming up as it was probably something she had no prior knowledge of. I'm torn between wanting Obama to use the same tactics as she does and not wanting him to lower himself to that kind of dirty politics.

|
Once you vote... You only see the results... my guess is you clicked vote twice.
The poll is accurate, it takes a few seconds for your vote to be logged... but thats it.

21. There will be no need for any more primary debates. |
|
The superdelegates come aboard after PA, and the nomination is settled.
What the Obama campaign DOES need to do, is to look ahead to the debates in the fall against Grandpa McLoon. Usually there are three of them. No doubt FAUX will insist on at least one. They should only agree to debating on FAUX, if the moderators are NOT employees of Rupert Murdoch. Needless to say, Charles Gibson and Snuffleupagus have disqualified themselves.
Overall, they should insist that at least one of the debates, preferably ALL of them, are REAL debates, sponsored by the League of Women Voters or some other non-partisan group, discussing ACTUAL issues, and not fucking lapel pins or other irrelevant horseshit.

22. Clinton associated herself with the attackers and lost credibility |
|
Edited on Sat Apr-19-08 02:11 PM by crankychatter
people remember the right wing attack machine of 2000 and 2004
we had a nearly visceral reaction
they attacked her too... in an unfair way... perhaps not as much
BUT she associated herself WITH the attack...
She overestimated the virtue and utility of those tactics
and UNDERESTIMATED the intelligence of Democrats
Obama did well, although understandably shaken and not his best performance ever...
but he WON
we'll find out in PA
