Will Nader Leave the Race Before November?
Listening to him talk about how he wants to put the issues forward, I think his plan will be to drop out before November:

1. If he is 2% or below in the polls.
2. If he's out of money.
3. If he is only on the ballot in less than 50 of the states.

I think we owe the Green party a debt of gratitude for NOT nominating him this time!

So the question I put to you is will and when will Nader leave the race?

2. Kerry has been careful not to attack Nader
If Senator Kerry selects Senator Edwards as his runningmate, I am hopeful that Nader may count that as a vitory and go away. I would not be opposed to letting him speak at the convention if he has bowed out.

3. I don't think he will. This is not about issues... it is his ego.

6. Of Course Not. Bush* Needs Him
Without Nader, it won't be close enough to steal,
just like it wouldn't have been in 2000 without Nader.

7. I wish, but the man is a waste of skin.
Nader should do the world a big service and just donate his organs to people who need them rather than risking putting Bush in there for another term and putting hundreds of thousands at extreme risk.

8. He won't drop out, but he won't be on the ballots of more than 10 or 15
states, if even that.

That's my guess.

those 10-15 will probably be the most crucial swing states, such as Oregan, and Wisconsin.

9. Drop out and ask his supporters to vote for Kerry.
He could say that he has come to the realization that Bu$h is so dangerous that if he were given another four years he would destroy America, and that it is critical for everyone to vote for JK to oust Bu$h.

He'd be a hero.

10. Nader's Ego
I've always had a hunch that he would drop out. If he left the race toward the end, in a dramatic way, then that would also serve his ego. When I say "dramatic" I mean maybe the last few days of the campaign. Kerry is being very smart not to attack him and I don't think that he will. By not attacking him, he keeps Nadar and his supporters happy. Although I don't have much use for Nadar, it has occurred to me that maybe we should not attack his supporters either. I think that we can disagree with them in a nice and friendly way. But lets not make them mad. Afterall, in the end they may still come over to Kerry.

11. The senile Repuke operative will not leave the race.
He will simply serve, as he always has, as a media lightening rod to attack the Democrats continuously. The CNN corporate whore Repuke pig is a fraud and a liar. He has always been a fraud and a liar.
