Why is Hillary suddenly talking like *? |
|
“I don’t want to show up and give one of these whoop-de-do speeches and, you know, and just kind of get everybody whipped up," she said, "and those feel great and, you know, try to convince some of you to be for me.”

Edited on Sat Apr-19-08 06:04 PM by lyonn
She has been making speeches most of her life and she still can't keep from saying, you know and aaah, aaah. That tells me that you don't know what you are talking about, just trying to recite a script.

48. that depends on how you interpret *brushing the dirt off*... |
|
to me it is a representation of getting past something and moving on... like if you fall down, you get back up, brush the dirt off-- then get back to work. It can also be interpreted as brushing off the "haters" or anything that is negative and not letting it get you down... I don't see either of these as disrespecting Clinton, as apposed to her directly mocking Obama and his speeches.
How do you interpret it?

Why would I need a book, when I was born with a brain that I use everyday. I don't cede rational thought or my individualism to a "collective" hive mentality, like you Obamites. You truly are scary people. That is my impression of anyone that doesn't use the brain they were born with.

16. She's always been talking like that. Senator Clinton on Meet the Press: |
|
Senator Clinton on Meet the Press:
"I am rooted in the real lives of real people. That is what I've cared about, that's what motivates me. That's what I want to do as president."
Senator Clinton at the CNN debate, when Blitzer drummed her on the 2002 Iraq Resolution: "We have so many problems that we are going to have to untangle. And it will take everyone -- it will take a tremendous amount of effort. But the one thing I'm convinced of is that, if we go into our campaign against the Republicans with the idea that we are as strong as they are and we are better than they are on national security, that we can put together an effective strategy to go after the terrorists -- because that is real, that is something that we cannot ignore at our peril -- then we will be able to join the issues of the future."

19. Because BushClinton has been 28 years of continuous bullshit. |
|
Chimpy only looks worse because he's an idiot, and because the rest of them used a manufactured event "such as a new Pearl Harbor" to use the fucked up excuse of "national security" for acceleration of the downhill slide into fascism.
But that does not change the fact that the slide began in 1980, and did not stop in 1993 when Bill Clinton took office.
