I think the fat lady is practicing her scales.

MI-MI-MI-Meeeeeeeee

I got the Windex out and polished up my crystal bawl.
;-)
When folks who know you well (like your husband's former cabinet secretaries) don't support you, that should be sending you a nagging little message.

Standard disclaimer: I will STILL vote for whoever has the big 'D' after their name in November.
I hope it's not a clothespin-on-the-nose vote.
But I can and will do that, too.

OK, I'm ready to suffer the slings and arrows.

3. Thanks. I really think the party's over.
Miz t. and I were for Edwards.
Now I like Obama.
She LIKED (past tense) Hillary.
But she's not as enthusiastic as she was a few weeks ago.
She will also vote for whoever gets the nom.

No slings or arrows from me, either!

I think you've put it very well...

And I agree, I will vote for whoever our Dem nominee is, in November!

4. It won't even be a clothespin on the nose for me --
as much as I don't care for Hillary, I'd DANCE to those fucking polls to cast a vote for her against McCain.

15. You made me think of this:

The Colt Single Action Army handgun (also known as the Colt Peacemaker, Single Action Army, Colt .45 and sometimes as The Equalizer) is a single action revolver with a revolving cylinder holding six rounds. It was designed for the US government service revolver trials of 1873 by Colt's Manufacturing Company and adopted as the standard military service revolver.

At this point, she's simply prolonging the inevitable.

I wish she'd have bagged it back on Super Tuesday.

"It's not over until the fat lady sings" from the stereotype of a large woman singing opera. The opera is presumably over when the large woman does her solo (fucked if I know, I've never been to an opera) so therefore, when someone says the fat lady is tuning up it means the show (read campaign) is almost over.
