Obama is doing one AMAZING final push across PA!
Edited on Sat Apr-19-08 08:41 PM by adoraz
Today he was doing rallies in:
Wynnewood
Paoli
Downingtown
Lancaster
Harrisburg

(all in PA)

Tomorrow he is in Scranton and Reading.

And the final day he will be in McKeesport and Pittsburgh.

We can't forget about the 35k people who showed up for him last night in Philadelphia either.

I have never seen this kind of a push from his campaign in the final days.

Not ever anywhere close to this many events in a single state.

He looks to be finishing extremely strong! :)

1. I don't think he will win, but PA was always HRC's to lose, but he will keep it close
I think and in doing that it will be enough to put pressure on Clinton because it won't hardly change the delegate math or popular vote math.

Plus he is outspending her something like 5-1 or 3-1.
If he doesn't win here after everyone saying that the nomination is his already and Hillary can't win it, he will be in deep doo-doo.

11. Take your crap elseware
And tell the goalpost movers they are fired!

PA has been a firewill for Clinton. If was NEVER expected that Obama was going to win there. It was expected that Clinton was going to win big there.

So you can take a dump elseware.

17. No I think you read the map wrong and thought you were in GoalPost moving HQ
Keep moving those goalposts. See what good it gets you.

In my view I know you plan on spinning a 4 or 6 point Clinton win into what you think will be an Obama Campaign disaster. Something kind of like "Outspent 3-1 and he STILL Can't win PA He has LOST Haha Obama Zombies!!" You are not fooling anyone.

Do everyone a favor and take your crap to other topics. As you do nothing to help Clinton posting in this one.

21. Wolfson said he's outspending her TWO to one. And she started out with a 30 point lead, has the
Clinton name, the Clinton connections, the Clinton establishment, the Clinton "home-town," and on and on and on. She and her husband have deep roots in PA. Too bad-they never planned on someone like Obama coming along! :hi:

27. Ok, he has poured double the amount of money that Hillary has in PA. He is making a
huge push at the end of the race, by most accounts she has no chance to win the nomination, the natural response from voters in a

party would be to rally around the winner and end the nominating process as early as possible and start the process of uniting.

But it sure looks like Hillary will be coming back from the dead once again and proving that she deserves the nomination.

28. Double the money without ALL the other huge advantages Hillary has is nothing.
Money doesn't erase Hillary's lifetime of roots in the state and all the other advantages. She DOESN'T have a chance to win the nomination. She only has the chance to prolong the race. People in PA are trying to keep her alive. Big deal. So she takes a handful of delegates out of his lead! She won't be "coming back from the dead." She'll be doing what's been expected-that she'll win PA. Obama planned from the beginning on Hillary winning. His prediction sheet was seen several weeks ago and he had HER winning PA. And that was even before Wright, "bitter-gate," etc.

32. He's outspending her because
He can. He's got support that is both wide and deep. Support that allows him to spend strategically, and also to pay his bills.

So are Hillary supporters now crying that it isn't fair that we are supporting Obama better than they are supporting her?

25. The only thing Obama HAS to do is prevent Hillary from getting more than 60% of the vote
Edited on Sat Apr-19-08 09:40 PM by rocknation
That's what this "final push" is really about. Forty-five per cent of PA is all he needs; a win would be icing on the cake. Hillary needs at least 65% of the vote in ALL TEN of the remaining contests if she wants the delegates to sit up and take notice.

P.S. It's easy to outspend someone when that someone doesn't have enough money TO spend.

Edited on Sat Apr-19-08 08:45 PM by Zachstar
I thought for a few weeks that he would be content just to reduce to 10. NOPE!! He is working his BUTT off to turn it into a win!! Even if he does not you have to give him and his campaign huge credit for trying!!

And the experience he got out of PA will do him GREAT in Indiana! and West Virginia and Kentucky!!

14. My head says Clinton should win by 10-15 points. But my heart is saying Barack
could win this outright.

His speech last night in Philly kicking off this final push was telling. Rather than speak in the conversational voice he usually uses at rallies, throughout he spoke in his loftier voice that he only uses for primary nights and major speeches like MLK and his speech on race. I don't think he's settling for a 5-10 point loss.

15. Obama who?
I live in Mercer county and the only thing I've seen about the election is an a lot Hillary stuff, signs, fliers, door to door canvasing. Bill was here today and just south of me yesterday. Daughter was at one of the local colleges the other day. You would think that with 5 colleges within 40 miles of me Obama would make an appearance. Same with the local radio stations all Hillary all the time.

35. Any idea where he will be election night?
As soon as we know that we will know what the internal polling says. If he is doing a rally in PA he's going for the knockout. If he'll be in Indiana or North Carolina it means he expects her to win (unless they both plan to do rallies in later states, which is possible).
