Which candidate is using the Republican attack playbook?
Barack Obama recently told CNN, 'we've been very measured in terms of how we talk about Senator Clinton.' It's an interesting quote considering the months of relentless character attacks against Hillary from Sen. Obama and his campaign.

Take the Pop-Quiz to see who's using the Republican attack playbook:

26. You're right. Everything quoted in that quiz IS true.
Hillary Clinton is "literally willing to do anything to win"
Hillary Clinton is attempting to "deceive the American people"
Hillary Clinton has a secret 20-year plan to become president
Hillary Clinton is "making the run for the best actress nomination"
Hillary Clinton a calculating, poll-tested, divisive figure
Hillary Clinton "one of the most secretive politicians in America"
Hillary Clinton's campaign is "playing politics with war"
John McCain is seen as more honest and trustworthy than Hillary Clinton
Hillary Clinton is dishonest
Hillary Clinton is "overbearing and scary"
Hillary Clinton can be described as "a monster"
Hillary Clinton is "not being straight with the American people"
It can be said of Hillary that "the American people are not going to elect a president that they do not trust"
Hillary Clinton "consistently" and "deliberately" misleads the American people

It's good that you realize this. Bravo.
:applause:

The Obama supporter's standards for right-wing playbook is anything HRC does, and not anything Obama does.

7. Great Quiz -- I got a perfect score!
I see the Clinton campaign is now driving this point home -- very good -- as evidenced by his campaign, Obama is not who he claims to be.

What Sen. Obama proposes is his "strength" -- that of being above such attacks, is one of his key weakest points.

35. Talking about polling data taken about the opinions of the American
people regarding Hillary's honesty isn't RW - almost everything in that quiz had been said by millions of other people (like Hillary is not honest) prior to the Obama camp ever touching it.

If you want right wing attacks - think about fake patriotism (flag pins and pastorbating), attacks about the candidate religion (pastorbating and numerous rumors and insinuations), guilt by association (the list is quite long), and the like. Those are true Rovian tactics - and only one side of this years Democratic primary has been using them - I'll give you a hint, it not Obama.

49. Attacking the Democratic base is a GOP tactic - and that was what this OP was about
If she is petty enough to attack Democrats that disagree with her, that makes a statement about how she will serve as President. She chose to tell lies about MoveOn (regarding Afghanistan) to tear them down because they didn't support her - that speaks to how she would serve as President - that is also a GOP tactic (which, again, is what this OP was about).

Are you actually trying to justify Hillary telling lies about MoveOn?

39. Obama pretends to be a different kind of campaigner when he has been
the most negative of all.

And the Obama supporters on DU don't seem to care that Obama is playing negative politics, based on these responses. But they sure peetheirpantsinoutrage when they think Clinton is playing dirty. Indeed, many DU members state the reason they refuse to support Clinton is because of the negative campaigning.

Why the double standard?

As George H.W. Bush let slip once disembarking from a fishing boat "I'm not going to say anything negative. I'll let the people that get paid to do that do it." (paraphrasing) - - that's exactly what Obama allowed to happen within his campaign, especially his greatest paid hate monger David Axelrod.

Obama has been laying back, taking the high road. So the last weekend before the PA primary he lets loose with a few canonballs of his own and Clinton supporters cry, "Oh, the humanity!"

Sure, he has the gloves off now. But did you really expect that he would play rope a dope for all 15 rounds?
