and let's say he did run as VP for Hillary, we all know that he wouldn't have been anything but a person to fill a spot and that Bill would be the real VP.

65. I'd rather not have 8 years of Hillary first.
And apparently neither would a majority of voters in the Democratic primaries.

The question you should be asking is 'why did Hillary, the inevitable candidate with a tremendous starting advantage in fundraising and name recognition, screw up so badly?' But then the fact that she did, indeed, screw up by running a horrendous campaign is only part of the equation; the other part of the equation has to do with the fact that a lot of people simply do not find her to be likeable, and her name recognition is not such a benefit when her negatives are as high as they are.

16. Her drawing reminded me of Mr. Macky "M'KAY" from South Park
Especially the episode where Mr. Macky get's high.

But it is a beautiful drawing.

Did you see the one Colbert showed Michelle?.?.?

There was one (think it might have been the last one he showed her) that also had Barack with a large head, it reminded me of an editorial cartoon. It was very well done.

It is so inspiring to see kids inspired by Barack.

56. I recall arguing with my dad about Reagan.
I'm proud to say I have despised that a-hole Reagan since I was 14 (Reagan is in fact the reason I quickly became a liberal; his idiocy clarified my own views for me in a split second). I lost a lot of respect for my dad when he voted for stupid fake cowboy (my dad was no wingnut but bought into some of the propaganda at the time).

59. Obviously you never eavesdropped on my shrieking arguments with my parents
...I backed John Anderson in my 5th grade mock election.

Parents were desperate for Carter to beat Reagan.

In retrospect, it's a good thing I couldn't vote. Not that it would have mattered.

Children are not blank slates to be programmed by their parents. They develop opinions of their own a lot sooner than you'd think. Do you not know any?

It is my opinion that a successful Obama Presidency will have as big impact as the man that declared "I have a dream." It is he who lit a candle to show us the way through the door and all we have to do is step through it.
