1. I'd like to think we'll quickly coalesce around the nominee. |
|
So we can defeat the 170 year old right wing Bush ass kissing angry insane jerk the Republicans have.
But that's probably wishful thinking.

Of course you'd be content just winning the nomination. You know you'll need Obama's massive army of enthusiastic supporters to even have a chance against McCain. Those young people Clinton supporters scorn have always been the life's blood of a volunteer base.

4. I may go into a self imposed exile during the week that Skinner has |
|
designated as a cooling off period and come back when things return to normal (or whatever passes for normal around here). I'm afraid that week has the potential for even more nastiness than we have seen so far and I just don't want to get involved in it. I hope I'm wrong about that and I know that there will be some who will try to reach out so we can all start working together, but I've already seen many posters who are looking forward to the prospect of gloating over the losing candidates supporters and "rubbing their noses in it". Of course, many of the trolls on both sides will probably disappear, so maybe it won't be as bad as I fear.
Of course, I have my favorite, but I'm prepared to support the eventual nominee regardless who is chosen.

already a "10" on the obnoxious scale.
If it turns out to be him, it'll be interesting to see how they'll try to "out-obnoxious" themselves -- if that's earthly possible.
And then they'll start playing the victim and screaming bloody murder when Hillary Clinton supporters aren't interested .. at least immediately .. in pledging their support.
