Bradford County is Fired Up!
UNBELIEVABLE FOR THIS AREA!!!

Saturday night's concert and rally for Barack Obama in South Waverly was a huge success according to organizer Catherine Rossiter. Over 175 people turned out to the South Waverly Borough Hall for great music, great food and to show their support for Barack Obama for President. Almost $3000 was raised for Obama for America through donations. The evening began with Meg Moroni , Field Organizer for Bradford County, thanking the crowd for all their help. She quoted Obama's message that "I am asking you to believe not just in my ability to bring about real change in Washington - I'm asking you to believe in yours."
The music was donated by Ron Kristy and Terry Burns, The Burns Sisters, Satterly Hill, Mim Readling and Kilrush. All the bands have their roots in the area.
Michelle Berry, an Obama delegate to the National Democratic Convention in Denver also addressed the crowd and spoke about the possibilities of an Obama Presidency and the power of the American people to make those possibilties a realty. A national award-winning business owner, community organizer, women's advocate and former Poet Laureate of Tompkins County, Ms. Berry has been hailed a "true Renaissance woman" by Gannett Newspapers.
This event was indicative of the grass roots support that Obama is showing throughout Pennsylvania. Canvassing for Barack Obama and a Get Out the Vote Drive will continue through election day on Tuesday.

It is truly amazing for an event like this to happen in Bradford County!

6. Awesome!! This is why I refuse to believe that Clinton will win by over 10!
The grassroots and campaign efforts across the state have been well done and people are not accepting the status quo of a firewall state!

I am hearing more and more about Obama support in places all over PA. The support is there and I am not giving up hope!! GO Pennsylvania!!! You can do it!!

I can't thank yall enough for doing what you can and not giving up hope!! It reaffirms my belief in the American spirit!

Good luck!!
