6. No shit! That was Harrisburg |
|
Harrisburg is not such a big city. That was an amazing turnout.
I just hope they all make it to the polls on Tuesday.
We could really end this thing on Tuesday.
Go PA. Earn that name "Keystone".

15. He took the train from Philly to Harrisburg |
|
Stopping in 5 cities along the line. Wynnewood, Paoli, Downingtown, Lancaster and Harrisburg. There was a rally at each of the 5, about 2 hours apart.
The entire trip was about 100 miles start to finish.

Not sure about 'tailgaiting' though.
The events were gated off and security (which was run by TSA, down to the metal detectors) was huge. You could have one plastic bottle of water but no hard (reusable-type) bottles. No food -- just standing in one spot for 4 hours. Tailgating would have been a blast, but then you would have been at the end of the crowd.
All of these were in 'parks' (like ours) or in the street.

That guy yelled that at JUST the perfect moment and he was JUST loud enough to really be heard. Way to go, anonymous bitter Obama supporter! I loved the crowd's laughter and applause. That was a really fired up crowd.

Have you ever been to rallies like that? I have and people yell stuff out all the time. That guy just happened to yell it out at the right moment. Sometimes you get lucky.

(though I'm starting to wonder if Hillary and McCain didn't help Obama by making him the default candidate to whom "bitter" voters will turn)
