Kerry has it in the bag.
After what at Green Parties convention outcome is only the half of Bush's problems.
It was funny how the Republicans was on the AM radio giving faint support to Ralph Nadar. Nadar is basically screwed at this point. On the right side of the fence is the so-called "Illegal alien" issue. Which has divided the right wing. Old line conservatives don't like neocons very much. Enter: Michael Peroutka of the Constitution Party. He out right wings the neocons. His campaign has picked up steam with the Christian right. So it's evenly divided on the right and left. Plus:
Fahrenheit 9'11 is turning a lot of heads. However: A Kerry victory is not guaanteed. Go out and get involved!

1. Kerry will never "have it in the bag"
please remember Bush did not win the last election; these thieving bastards will stop at nothing - and I mean NOTHING - to stay in power.

2. You're right, Gore had it in the bag, too
and Bush stole the bag.

7. Agreed.
With the margins as slim as they are, just rigging a few voting machines in a few key counties in a few key states could be enough to sway this election.

If there's no paper trail on these machines by then - I think we could be in for 2000 revisited.... except without any proof...

10. Kerry's ready for Bush to try and steal the election
He says that he's assembled a team of 2000 lawyers to examine voting machines, polling places, claims of discrimination etc. We've learned from the mistake we made last election and we will make sure that it doesn't happen again.

3. November is a long way away
but Nader not getting the Green Party endorsement is huge.

4. When Kerry takes the oath of office - then it's in the bag
until then I will remain a pessimist.

5. Not even then...
the right will begin articles of impeachment two days after the Oath is taken. We have to prepare for 8 long years of fighting for the hearts and minds of our fellow countrymen.

6. This country is so polarized right now
that no president could ever truly unite the country in a meaningful, lasting way. Unfortunately, all President Kerry can do is just to do what's right for the country, and improve the lives of even the people who want to destroy him.

8. Kerry will not be as juicy a target as Prez Clinton was
Edited on Mon Jun-28-04 06:48 PM by bushwakker
he will not engender the level of enmity that the right mustered for the Big Dog.

9. Man I watched the Constitution Party convention last night.
That Peroutka guy is out of his mind. He said that all men are created equal but they aren't all evolved equally. Then he went on a rant about sodomites in the army and homosexuals in general. He trashed Chimp pretty good in some parts but he came off as a psycho overall.

11. It's not "in the bag." But the Big Dog had it right. Kerry has a better
than 50% chance of winning in November. I trust the political instincts of the Big Dog.
