I'd like to know: What is going to change in 2009? |

Does anyone sincerely believe that we will see real "change" next year, regardless of which Democratic candidate earns the nomination? We don't live in South America; this isn't some type of rehash of Che Guevara's revolution. This is the United States that, because of relative economic prosperity, doesn't really change all that much. Almost every country goes to war, sometimes for very stupid or very selfish reasons. Almost every country has downturns in the economy. Almost every country now faces a crisis in energy usage. But we're able to eat. There are no food riots here like there are in Haiti or Egypt. Our version of "change" amounts to a marginal adjustment in political philosophy compared to many other nations.
So I wonder: What will change come January, 2009? What will be different?

1. Most changes won't be inside our own borders. |

If Obama runs, he will lose. McCain will be elected, and then nothing will change.
