Ed Rendell..."...but we're not hypocritical about it!" (Talking about running a negative campaign.)
So Rendell admitted to running a negative campaign on Face The Nation when Bob Casey said the Clinton campaign is running such a negative campaign. His response was that THEY'RE not hypocritical about it. They're not SAYING they're going to stay above the fray. :eyes: He cited ONE guy who said Hillary wasn't fit to lay a wreath at the tomb of the Unknown Soldier after her lie about sniper fire.

2. That has been her, and her supporters message since the beginning.
Look at their threads. 99% of the time it's : "Obama did it too".

4. Wasn't that on a conference call?
A conference call, OH NOES!!!

Didn't Axelrod say something like "Yes, that was uncalled for and needs to be repudiated. Sort of like how someone on a Clinton conference call compared Obama's health care plan to Nazi Germany, and Howard Wolfson repudiated that." Don't know if they planned the person to say that on the conference call, may be. If I was on the Obama campaign, I would kind of have to be restrained from going there myself. I think the so-called "dream ticket" will never happen, but I can just imagine the reactions of people on each side to having to work together. I remember when Edwards was on that late night show, and he said that everyone's campaign staff can't stand each other, or something.

6. They both are. One is honest about it, the other lies and wins votes by claiming he is above this

7. Obama is not running a dirty campaign. During the debate, for example, he refused to take the
bait and attack her on her sniper-fire LIE while Hillary used every RW talking point available.

8. Only 40% of Americans find her trustworthy. Guess who attacked her for a year as a liar...

So did Edwards but I can admit Edwards is human, not a saintly messiah. Candidates that are losing by a significant margin go negative to catch up. Here is just one example of Obama attacking her as a liar--in November while claiming that he represents a "different kind of politics." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Enm6Me3QaH0

10. Being attacked repeatedly for a year by Obama as a liar had no impact?
So Obama is just a hypocrite who likes to go negative for fun?

12. Why didn't similar video of Obama doing the same have the same impact?
Use common sense. Obama--and Edwards--kept hammering her on trust because they knew it worked. It was this issue along with lobbying that took her down--but the trust issue was by far the bigger of the two. The lobbying issue did little from August to October. It was trust that caused her balloon to burst. Prior to that she was up 20-30 points over Obama.

14. Sure there is. In fact here is one just like the immigration one that started Clinton's decline
The MSM savaged her for doing the same thing but ignored St. Obama doing it.
