- He won't campaign in swing states.
- There is little difference between the two parties.
- Gore would have started the Iraq War (oooops, there are quotes throughout the entire ordeal that prove this wrong).
- He will take more votes from Bush* than Kerry.

So yeah, a certain impressionable and/or antisocial contingent on the left gets sucked in and screws over all the people that are working hard just to get stuff to stop being worse among other things.
