Exactly. I'm coming to the conclusion that a sizeable whack of Obama supporters are closet Freepers.Their fetish boils down to the distaste of Caliban on seeing his own image.

I pray she sees and accepts the incredible harm her campaign has done to the Democratic Party.
I pray she rejects the DLC and the GOP-like tactics of hatred and victimhood.
I pray she realizes she's not entitled to the nomination.
I pray she seeks to make amends for the damage her tactics have caused, and asks for forgiveness from those she has harmed.
I pray she seeks help to overcome her tendency to lie and cheat.
And I pray she runs the rest of her campaign, this one and all future ones, in a manner that is ethically and morally responsible.

17. You are absolutely right!! |

It's exactly what is happening here with a certain percentage of Sen. Clinton's supporters. They project what their side and their choice is doing upon the other side and other choice.
Thank you for admitting that it's projection. And I DO understand that it's hard to admit - and accept that someone you admire and respect is acting so destructively. And it's very easy to project those actions on the opposition, that way it excuses acting the same way towards Sen. Obama's supporters.
However, it CAN be stopped. And you have the ability, AS a Sen. Clinton supporter, of putting pressure on her campaign - and her supporters - to discourage this negative behaviour.
Notice I did not call for her to drop out or anything like that. And I have stated before I will vote for her if she is the nominee.
But I CAN state the negative behaviour she is doing, and pray strongly that she sees what she is doing and stops it before she destroys her party, her nation, and everything she claims to hold as important.

That's alright, I KNOW it's very difficult to see that destructive behaviour on your side. But the only way to change it is to understand and accept it.
Best of luck to you in this regard.

to the nearest mirror. And then take it on board. The Rovian influence on the Obama nation is clear for all to see: Rule No 1. Accuse your opponent of your own most glaring flaw. With all due respect on reading this kind of material from Obamites I understand what Churchill felt like when Hitler called him an 'irresponsible warmonger'.

The only time I see examples of this "rule number 1" is from certain supporters in the Sen. Clinton camp. Not to mention Sen. Clinton herself.
However, you're welcome to believe what you want. I know the truth of the matter, and where the negativity is coming from.
Though I will say comparing those opposite from you to Hitler is a rather extreme example of projection. Actually more VERY over the top. And invokes Godwin's law too.
But again, if you're more comfortable demonizing the mote in someone's eye rather than the plank in your own, that is your choice.
Best of luck with your decision.

I approached this whole issue with a clear mind , and objective world view, and from ( a patiently acquired) informed moral standpoint. And my exegesis, outlined above, of the relative moral standpoints of the Clinton and Obama campaigns has been formed by slow and painful conviction. I'm sorry but I think your arguments are hollow and unsound and do not tally with the facts as I see them. And it is unlikely that this will change irrespective of how often you repeat them.

I started out looking at all the choices as well. Even gave Sen Clinton an extra look because Gen. Wes Clark endorsed her. Didn't much think of Sen. Obama at the time because I felt he didn't have much experience. Gov. Richardson and Sen. Biden seemed like the best choices for experience.
With the three remaining though, I felt the best choice was Sen. Obama. And he didn't run the breathtakingly negative campaign Sen. Clinton has.
If it came down to it in November, I'd vote for Sen. Clinton over Sen. McCain though. Thankfully it doesn't look like that will happen at this stage

And it is one of the main reasons I do not trust that his presidency would be a good one. His followers are so whacked out that they will trash anyone and anything that steps in *His* way.
Politics is not (should not be)about bulldozing over people you disagree with. Democracy is about compromise and restraint.
Democracy is also not about consensus... which they seem to demand. One person, one vote! And we each have a right to be heard.

I did not see this til this morning. But, ya know... I must have felt something in the air. Cuz last evening when I went to bed I made a conscious decision to place my "Vote For Hillary" button on my altar. And I don't ever put anything on that altar unless I intend it to be there!
I do not know if she will get our party's nomination, or if she will win the election. But... I do know this.... no matter what happens Hillary will always be working for the American people. Just as she has always done..... especially for the children.
Bless you Hillary Clinton!
