The Pope's hope speech
Edited on Sun Apr-20-08 08:54 PM by barack the house
Now how can folks argue with the Pope, his word is law..

Jesus is at work. Through the Holy Spirit, he draws you to himself, into his sacrificial love of the Father which becomes love for all. We see then that the Church’s liturgy is a ministry of hope for humanity. Your faithful participation, is an active hope which helps to keep the world -- saints and sinners alike -- open to God; this is the truly human hope we offer everyone (cf. Spe Salvi, 34). Your personal prayer, your times of silent contemplation, and your participation in the Church’s liturgy, bring you closer to God and also prepare you to serve others. The saints accompanying us this evening show us that the life of faith and hope is also a life of charity. Contemplating Jesus on the Cross we see love in its most radical form. We can begin to imagine the path of love along which we must move (cf. Deus Caritas Est, 12). The opportunities to make this journey are abundant. Look about you with Christ’s eyes, listen with his ears, feel and think with his heart and mind. Are you ready to give all as he did for truth and justice?

Sen. Barack Obama "Hope, hope is what brought me here today"

Yeah I know all the other stuff but the message affirms Obama's whole campaign.

3. HA! How can you Obamatrons bring up the Pope!
On his first day in this country, in DC, what was the number-one soundbite from the Pope that day? Hmm? Hmmm???

"God Bless America."

Guess Bennie supports Hillary (or McCain.)

6. No, but Obama is. And when this "man who fell to earth" -- when this random everyman --
Edited on Sun Apr-20-08 08:56 PM by smalll
when this half-white-Kansan, half-black-Kenyan, via Hawaii, via Indonesia, via California, via the Ivies, via Chicago -- when this Zelig, when this seed blowing in the winds finally touched down and put out roots, where did put down those roots? With a WIFE and a TWENTY-YEAR PASTOR/MENTOR/BRINGER-TO-JESUS who are angry racial separatists.

Your man has baggage. Fatal baggage.

8. You have "listened to his books." How semi-literate of you!
Sections of those author-read books-on-tape are already cued up for the 527 onslaught, I'm sure you've heard - Obama's own words on Pastor Wright from his books -- very laudatory, and VERY AWARE of what he said from the pulpit, (plus of course the "blank screen" comment.)

Baggage. Fatal baggage.

11. Don't you have a rock to crawl under?
Nice of you to bring Obama's racial makeup into the discussion. Are you a Freeeper, a racist, or a very poor excuse for a Hillary supporter?
