Did anyone else hear Andrea Mitchell mention Hardball guests tonight?
I read at Kos and the blog that Dean and McCain would be on, but only McCain is listed at the Hardball site. Two people said she was guest host, that she said they were Tuesday night guests? Did anyone else hear this? Can not verify.
Have not gotten email update yet.

3. Dean is on last tonight on Hardball.
"Finally Howard Dean will weigh in on Iraq, his support for Kerry and the new NYT poll out today...Speaking of Howard Dean, his former campaign manager Joe Trippi has a new book coming out which we'll discuss with him next week and Shuster will do a set up piece..."

5. Hey MF, is Tweety back? For awhile they had some female
talking head on Tweety's program (almost the only cable news program I watch these days).

Is Tweety back? He seems to like Dean.

6. Andrea Mitchell is subbing for Tweety tonight.
Here is part of the email update:
SNIP..."Tonight Andrea honchos another big name blockbuster of a show as we slice and dice the "TOP" (Transfer of Power) from all angles...Dan Senor, the former CPA spokesman, is back from Baghdad and sits down to discuss his work over there and what lies ahead for the nascent Iraqi government...

It was announced over the weekend that John McCain will have a prominent speaking role at the RNC convention in New York...We'll preview what his message will be, get his take on the TOP and assess the impact Iraq will have on Bush's reelection campaign...

Senator Chuck Hagel, a Vietnam vet who was elected to the Senate from Nebraska in '96, will stop by to chat up Andrea with his thoughts on Iraq...Hagel sits on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and brings great gravitas to the subject matter.

Finally Howard Dean will weigh in on Iraq, his support for Kerry and the new NYT poll out today...Speaking of Howard Dean, his former campaign manager Joe Trippi has a new book coming out which we'll discuss with him next week and Shuster will do a set up piece......"

7. Who writes this stuff anyway?
"...Andrea honchos another big name blockbuster..." ?

"...chat up Andrea..." ?

"...great gravitas to the subject matter..." ?

Man.

Anyway, thanks for letting me know. Mitchell is better than the woman who was substituting before.

8. I wonder how Andrea will treat Dean
He wasn't very complimentary of her husband, Alan Greenspan, in many speeches during the campaign. Rightly so.

9. Ha Ha, I thought about that. Dean said he should be fired.
Several times. We will have to see, but it should be interesting. Dean said Greenspan was politicizing his position.
